If she ends up being considered then they should sign her up as soon as possible. If they wait till 2007 she will be a huge star and wouldn't want to do it. Right now her star is rising, so they should do it now. I'm pretty sure Dunst isn't going to return for the fourth installment.

If they replace Toby and Kirsten for a new few movies, which I think they should after SM3, (or atleast I think they should also replace Tobey when they inevitably replace the inevitably gone Kirsten) they're going to go with actors a few years younger to keep them going at around the same age, not a decade older than they already had.

She looks pretty good when dolled up, but she's really in the same average league as Kirsten, all together. Maybe a better face, but a much inferior body. And I believe shorter (less model like).

Yeah, Rachel is 29 right now. She'll be in here `30s if she plays MJ. But, that doesn't matter. Tobey is older than Peter Parker and I doubt they want younger. These characters are getting older in each film. By Spider-Man 4 they'll be in their mid-late `20s and dedicated to their profession.

There is absolutely nothing to base said "doubt" on.

All logic would dictate giving your characters more time to age and get too old before you want them that when you have a franchise that takes 3 years in between films and your dealing with main characters that were always portrayed relatively young even after 40 plus years of comics, and they're still basically adapting the near beginning of his mythos.

It's a no brainer to go with people a few years younger for your next 2-to-3 films, which will span 6-9 years in time preciding as those characters.

These characters are getting older in each film. In Spider-Man, Peter, MJ, and Harry were 17-18 years old. In Spider-Man 2 they were 19-20 years old. I'm pretty sure they'll be 20-23 years old in Spider-Man 3. The producers said they will only make a total of 6 films. It could change, of course, but the plan at the moment is for six films. And, we don't know the release date of the future films. Spider-Man 2 was released 2 years after the original and Spider-Man 3 will be 3 years. Spider-Man 4 could be released in 2009 or 2010. Or if the rumors are true of filming 3 and 4 at the same time then 2008. I don't know. Whatever. I just think Rachel McAdams would be good. If Dunst is pregnant then she'll be good for Spider-Man 3. She is after all about the same age as Tobey.

While it would be an improvement up against KD, you could say that about a lot of actresses. So when we get a new one, I want one spot on.

The next three? Well, here's the dilemma. Spider-Man 4 will not begin pre-production till late 2007. By then she will be a huge star. They need to sign her now, while her star is rising. Secondly, unless they film Spider-Man 4/5 together I don't think she could be in the next three. She is 29 years old now. In Spidey 4 she'll be in her early `30s which is okay since these characters are getting older in each film. But, by Spider-Man 6 she'll already be pushing 40. So, I think she will be great for Spider-Man 4, but I don't know about part 5 and 6. Let's see what happens. If the rumors are true about filming Spider-Man 3 & 4 together, then McAdams will be great for 5 and 6. In Spidey 6 is released in 2011 then she'll just be 35. Lets see what happens. Nonetheless, I think she'll be great.
