6 for me.

Well it wasn't edited very well, some of the vfx look nice and the cinematography is nice but it wasn't edited well. The first few scenes were bad, like Jean crying and the part with Mystique. Storm's line came out of nowhere lmao.

Why is it the the person with the most negative things to say is always the first to try and make a new thread rating trailers and teasers for these movies? And then give them low ratings and waiting for the others aka your clique to come in with their usual negative opinions and ratings? Its almost like these are made in attempts to get others in here who agree with you as to stroke your confirmation bias.

I'll give the trailer a 10.

The cinematography is beautiful. Kinberg at least seems to be TRYING to make a good movie. We've known about Mystique since 2017 so that's not a surprise. The conflict is still squarely centered around the FC cast and not the X-Men but in order to create emotional turbulence, that's what Kinberg had to do since he doesn't want to bother developing the X-Men themselves.

It was okay. It wasn't bad but It didn't make me want to cheer

8/10

Pros:

Beast and Mistique are blue, mostly
Storm gets dialogue time
Visuals are very crisp - Quicksilver, illusion and space scenes in particular
Tone and atmosphere is perfect
Cinematography looks huge upgrade over Apocalypse
Magneto gun scene is very memorable

Cons:

Opening few scenes are weak - Sophies line delivery sounds rehearsed
No reveal of Jessica Chastains character- but they are keeping it a secret
No shots of aliens vs Xmen
No scenes of Lotus or Selene
No Phoenix raptor
Not enough Cyclops standing up for Jean in support

Just like the first one, I love what I see, I'm digging the looks and the cinematography, would've like seeing the Phoenix raptor, but I guess they're looking forward to showing us a final trailer in the near future, so I guess we'll have to wait for that.

I found a little odd that scene that they put after the title card, it was a weird choice of pacing for the trailer, otherwise it looks awesome.

It is a solid 8 as a trailer. It delivers what the general audience wants to see and to make people interested.

If they showed more of the power displays I am sure it would be higher rating but I think they are holding back as much as possible.

Also I like that Chastain's role is still a mystery but the vibe I am getting from the second trailer is that she is going to deliver.

Terrific trailer for a terrific movie. I'm more and more proud of this fantastic franchise which made movie history.

"Dark Phoenix" will be as much superb as "First Class", "Days of Future Past" and "Apocalypse".

10/10

On a side note, i doubt i will watch anymore trailers, i was sold with the first one, i dont want to go watch the movie knowing everything about it.

I'm 100% serious. I'm a true X-Men movie fan and the author of the website "X-Continuity".

A lot better a trailer than the first one you can definitely tell effects weren't finished in that first trailer that look a lot better now. Got to be honest though im still on the fence on this one at best. Personally as much as I love McAvoy as Prof X & Fassbender as Magneto I felt like this iteration of the characters had run its course by the end of Apocalypse. Will still go and see it but im not bursting with anticipation for this one.

Maybe it was just me (and I never usually notice stuff like this) but the production didn't look anywhere near the same level that I have seen in previous X-Men films, one or two of the scenes where costumes or sets that looked quite cheap.

Its looks ..... "Meh". I am scared for this movie cos i want it to end on a high.
Then it should have ended on DOFP lol just my opinion.

7.5 for me.

Pros:

Dark but rich, cinematic looking visuals
Grounded, suspenseful tone
Strong performances from McAvoy, Fassbender, Sheridan, et al.
Action sequences are dynamic and seemingly well-executed

Cons:

Music (was hoping to hear some of Zimmer's score by now)
The de-aging of McAvoy's Charles for one sequence (unnecessary and poorly done)
No "bird of fire" effect for the Phoenix Force

Overall, I liked the trailer, but at the same time it lacks a certain je ne sais quoi.

I liked the tone of the trailer and a few shots but overall it was pretty much meh the opening of Jean crying and talking to herself was weird and showing mystique die was a odd choice . 8/10

That one isn't even official. The real international trailer(s) is(are) exactly whats uploaded on FoX's YouTube channel.

It was but it isn't the official trailer and when I created this thread, the poll is meant for the official trailer.
