I'm actually surprised to see that there's a lot of "Meh" reactions here.
I'm pretty much reiterating what everyone else is saying, but it doesn't look like anything original. The only "original" thing about it is having Spider-Man in the MCU.
I loved the bank scene at the beginning of the trailer, and RDJ's humour as usual, but the majority of this feels like "Spider-Kid: Tony Pls Let Me Be An Avenger", as opposed to a Spider-Man solo movie. Tony has had too big a hand in Spider-Man's origin so far, and it doesn't stop Tony from just making Peter yet another "Iron Man" or War Machine (which I guess Tony could use after Civil War).
I have a feeling I'll enjoy the Peter Parker moments in this film more than the Spider-Man aspect, but nothing about this film so far really grabs me. Vulture looks cool, but he may just be another generic Marvel villain.
I'm hoping the sequel will have more of an independent Spidey, and more of an original outline.
I can't believe I'm saying this, but I think I've got Spider-Man movie fatigue now. I'd much prefer a fleshed out Netflix series at this point.
**Edit: I also forgot to mention this: it seems like Spider-Man is a hero in this one just to prove himself to Tony, rather than it being his responsibility. It looks like there's a moment in the film where Peter rejects Tony's help, which I'd be glad for and hints at Peter doing this out of responsibility, but I'm not particularly happy with Peter's motives for being Spider-Man.
