It is okay but really nothing to get exciting about. It looks like every other Spider-Man movie but misses the excitement of his "swinging through New York" scenes.

It's getting fairly positive reactions everywhere else. Just the ever pessimistic SHH boards doing their thing

Swinging through a city CGI job isn't finished yet, I suppose. It's complex and costly. That's why the trailer features almost nothing of that.

Perfection for me.

It provided me with pretty much what I wanted to know and see, and I couldn't help but smile or chuckle in a few shots.
It looks so much fun!

I went with good. It didn't get me completely hyped yet, though Doctor Strange didn't at first either. I'll give it time. I'm still happy to see Spiderman back in the MCU.

I liked it, but I am an Iron Man homer so there can never be enough Iron Man for me, overall I enjoyed it a lot.

It was...ok? The problem is we've seen the "Parker learning to balance his powers with normal life" story in some many forms already that this didn't feel that fresh.

On film, that has only been a strong focus in Spider-Man 2.

I liked seeing him in actual school, but the action beats were cliche. Even the sound of the Staten Island ferry ripping in half sounded familiar.

What do you want a ferry ripping apart to sound like?

The first Doctor Strange trailer was somewhat boring to me. The second one was much better.

I go with a good, not great. I didn't expect anything mind-blowing, just a solid trailer like any other MCU film, and that's what I got, both domestic and international. But I'll admit that I like the tone and pacing of the international trailer compared to the U.S. one.

I actually preferred the international trailer to domestic. This gets 7/10. I'm interested in what direction they take Vulture.

Good, not great. I'm seeing this regardless but the trailers didn't pump me up anymore than I already was. I guess seeing him do pretty cool things in Civil War already may have put a damper on what I saw in the trailer. I'm on the fence with the Vultures appearance but I have to see more.

Yeah a villain with a mechanical suit? I guess that's the future of Venom, Sandman and Hydro....

Venom, Sandman and Hydro-Man aren't mechanical villains.

Many of the first trailers for the solo Marvel films fail to impress me greatly. I think The Winter Soldier and Civil War are exceptions.

I don't think that the first trailer for Ant-Man or Doctor Strange were anything to run home about.

I found this trailer to be underwhelming. I felt nothing while watching it. It's a bit sad that as a longtime spidey fan I am not excited. However, I do enjoy Holland and the Vulture looks cool...

Sorry to hear you feel that way. Hopefully you will enjoy the movie when it comes out.

Thought it was great. Great money shots, excellent humor, I'm hyped.

I think they should have saved that last shot for another trails closer to the movie though.

10/10 for me. It looks like a great blend of the superhero genre and the John Hughes/high school movie genre. I wasn't all that excited about this beforehand, but now I can't wait for it. Sorry I ever doubted you, Marvel.

I hope so too. I am definitely not a pessimist. And I think the point you were trying to make and the point I'd like to make is that trailers aren't always an indicator of the quality of a film. The ASM trailers were very exciting for example however the movies themselves fell flat or were bad even. The purpose of a teaser is essentially to generate excitement or leave you wanting more so in that regard I am disappointed. However, I am hopeful the next trailer will have me feeling differently.

The trailers for Spider-Man 3, TASM1 and TASM2 were near perfect, and the movies were complete letdowns. The 1st trailer for Doctor Strange was medicore to me and I ended up loving the movie.

I voted "Good, Not Great." So, I'd give it a 7/10 or something.

Luckily I saw the international trailer first which I thought was great. Then I saw the official trailer and thought it was average and a letdown in execution so I could understand people having gripes with it. Holland's Spider-man looks great to me as does The Vulture.

The Spidey stuff looks good, but the scenes with Peter and his friends do nothing for me, they didn't feel like Spider-man to me, maybe that will change with more footage, but not wowed yet. Keaton will probably be wasted like most actors who play Marvel villains are.
