Rate the Premiere! (Survival Of The Fittest and Interactions)

[Silver Spider]

The first two episodes were....well.....spectacular. I mean, I honestly expected this series to be good but it turned out much better than I thought. The little homage they did to the Spidey films in the second episode by having Spidey land on a train and by the way he climbed the buildings was just awesome.

My thoughts exactly.

I was actually surprised that I liked it as well as I did. I thought it was good but I'm not too crazy about the artistic style but I can live with it as long as the future episodes are this much fun. My favorite thing is the animation style of Spidey web slinging. I think it is some of the best I've seen from a Spider-man cartoon.

To me, this series has the best web-slinging. To me, in TAS he seemed too....stiff when web-slinging.

the web-slinging is improved from the first episode, and hes alot more acrobatic than TAS, but there are still times where hes just swinging and he has no weight- theres no bounce between web shots or no tension in the line. but that and the character designs are my only complaints (plus im not crazy about eddie as connors's assistant). i thought the shocker episode was the best one yet.

One of my favorite parts of the premiere is when he rescues Norman Osborne and he's swinging and swapping Osborne from arm to arm. That was soooo cool.

see i wasnt too crazy about that. i would have prefered seeing him just swinging with one arm.

i dunno. probably because i know it wouldnt really be possible (even though its a cartoon and he has heightened strength). i dunno, i guess as an animator it just wouldnt had been my choice to do.

Agreed, I mean, his wb-sling in the 90's show was very cool, but this shows' web-slinging is top notch.
