They do already have the actual suit.
That practical process must be killer compared to just making sure the digital overlay is rendered to look as real as possible.

I think it's just bobblehead and metal render can sometimes look too clean in a very dirty scene. By clean I mean you got objects that aren't clear to see via Depth of field but the CGI render just lacks some or that irregularity.

I wish they have tried to do what Robocop did.

Give him a practical suit to a point. Then come with the CGI and tweak elements.

Personally I'd rather have the DC You Cyborg look that is a perfect marriage. Less robocop and more CYBORG.

At least Cyborg doesn't have a random human hand........like wtf thought that was a good idea?

lol, I enjoyed the explanation for the hand.
The DC You version may come in to play later on with the whole almost nanite Astroboy approach. He'd be more human looking by default and switch to Borg mode, but does that take away story potential?

I feel bad for Joel Kinnaman. He was good in Robocop but the movie was lackluster. And then he gets cast in Suicide Squad as the most boring and stupid character in an outright awful movie. And of course, he had the misfortune of having the best/worst line in the whole film: “THIS IS KATANA! SHE’S GOT MY BACK!” Ugh.

He’s been good in other stuff... hopefully he’ll show up in something better soon.

By the way, I wonder when we'll get to see Ray/Cyborg again. I really liked him in this movie. He seemed to have this cool, likeable vibe about him. Would be a shame if this is the one and only time we ever get to see him.

Cyborg was a lot more likeable than I thought he would be.
Ray Fisher did a really awesome job bringing the character to life.
By the end, I was hoping to have been able to see more of him.

I hope he continues on as a regular in the DCEU.

The most pleasant surprise In the movie for me. Never been a big fan of the character, but loved his arc in this and thought Fisher played the part really. I would certainly see a Cyborg solo movie now we’re as previously I probably wouldn’t have.
