Justice League Ray Fisher Is Victor Stone/Cyborg

I think he will iit was ye fisher.

I'm not going to watch anymore videos on the subject as it's a complete & utter waste of my time. I watched 2 that were 20 minutes long each from either side of the fence & that was complete overkill. This is clearly a misunderstanding, regardless of what the Youtuber says he said, it sounded like & still sounds like 'Gay Fisher'.

The 2 parties need to get together privately & talk it out like adults because in Ray's mind, he's just been namecalled & in the Youtuber's mind he's done nothing wrong.

If someone enabled abuse Jason wouldn't be working with them again .

Didn't people in Holywood continue to work with Harvey Weinstein despite knowing behind the scenes of creepy behaviour & sexual misconduct?

Obviously that's an extreme example, but if people are willing to put that sort of stuff out of their mind to do a job & get paid, I'd think working with someone who's allegedly an asswipe would be no problem at all.. most of the world does it every day in their day to day job.

I would genuinely like to hear the other side simply because Fisher's accusations are so vague they could entail absolutely anything but, yeah, Joss being a jerk is not news. He's a brilliant screenwriter who is an incredibly important figure in television history - all the Marvel stuff, all the JL stuff really doesn't feel like anything more than a blip in the grand scheme of his career - but it shouldn't come as a shock to anyone whose been paying attention over the years that he may be sort of a prick.
I am not going to start comparing Whedon To Weinstein unless I have cause to. Right now all we have is Ray Fisher throwing around the word "abuse".

People continued to work with Singer as well, even the X-Men actors.

So if you can point to more extreme cases of abuse where actors will still work for said director, then it would stand to reason they could do it for less monstrous, though possibly very flawed, ones.

Alter goes on to say that Russell allegedly "so abused Amy Adams" on the set of 2013's American Hustle "that Christian Bale got in his face and told him to stop acting like an a**hole.”

somehow this made me chuckle.

You've missed the point completely. I was referring to people being willing to work with Whedon again.

There is no comparison to make in terms of what they've done because as of right now all Joss Whedon is being accused of is essentially being an asswipe, which isn't a crime. Whereas Harvey Weinstein was accused of rape & various other seriously inappropriate behaviour which was/is a crime.

Man, going through Twitter and seeing ViewerAnon being so goddamn adamant on saying Ray Fisher is bulls****ing and overall dismissing everything he's saying. Damn. Quite ironic that he used to have the Black Lives Matter hashtag on his username a while ago.

At least he described an incident this time and didn't just make a statement so broad it could mean anything.

Just deleted a bunch of petty sniping. Please be respectful, y'all.

or maybe fisher is indeed Bull****ting ,and make the situation more dramatical than it's was ?
yall see him makin theses little tease, every week about what happened to him , and go hide & blame NDA when he's asked to tell more.
i think everyone should be doubtful about the whole stuff,i know its hard because Snyder got screwed up over pretty bad, but still....

So you would rather switch one extreme for another extreme (from 'he's totally telling the truth' to 'he's lying about everything to get attention')? Sounds perfectly reasonable to me. And you don't seem to know how NDAs work.

Look, I'm not saying I 100% believe the guy, but knowing what he's like and given all the problems that occurred within the set of JL, I'm more inclined to believe him than not. Plus, let's assume, unlike your peculiar reasoning, that he is definitely telling the truth. Are we really just going to dismiss a black man getting mistreated at work given recent events and the current political climate in the US?

Not going to dismiss him, just like I'm not going to instantly assume he's telling the truth based on the community he happens to be a member of. Individual character isn't defined by color or gender. My main critique is the manner in which he chose to do this, not so much whether I personally think he's telling the truth or not. Him and Johns didn't just butt heads over lines he didn't want to say or anything that could paint Johns in a negative light, he flat out accused him of criminal behavior. You can't make an accusation of this magnitude on twitter with nothing to back it up with it. You just can't do that.

Him being a black man has nothing to do with whether he's telling the truth or not, and neither does the "current political climate".

Obviously his race is not the important matter here, that isn't the point. But given all that's been happening in the US these past few months, the timing is notable.

TBH, I'm a bit worried for him if this does go to court. The counter argument people here and on Twitter (like Viewer Anon) are making, that Ray is just a slumming D-lister who is bitter about his big break not panning out, seems like something a defense attorney could easily run with. Especially if none of the big stars on JL are willing to confirm his claims.

I'm really curious to see where this goes.

Well, he did say some things are more important than self-preservation. But I think he has same people in his corner should it come down to it.
