I'm sure your Falcons will be a worthy addition to the list this season (assuming they're of quality, of course).
I'm guessing we're going to have to make a little forum bet then? :o
Loser has to rock the winning teams logo as an avatar for a week? We could even do it twice.

I'm in for one win, not two. The NFC South is one of the toughest divisions in the NFL (sometimes THEE division). When all four teams are healthy, it's competitive as ****.

No it's not, that was sooooooo 5 years ago.

Saints won't even go 7-9 this year...bounty gate :BA

Tampa Bay and Carolina are rebuilding but they are still very dangerous. Meanwhile, Atlanta and New Orleans are playoff caliber teams.

Granted, Matt Ryan has yet to win a single playoff game and the Saints lost 12 starters along with their head coach due to bounty-gate but I honestly believe the NFC South is a grinding division where the winner has to fight for every single division game.

Note: Both Tampa and Carolina are only a few pieces away from becoming playoff caliber teams too.

Okay, what team do you guys pick to go 0-16?

Probably none of them, I know... but every season since 2008 I think there's been a point where people speculated that at least one of the teams would match the Lions' epic record. This year, I'm going for...

THE JETS!

Miami or Minnesota. :o

Bill Polian's Superbowl Picks?

NFL Analyst Bill Polian said:
http://espn.go.com/blog/nfcsouth/post/_/id/38541/bill-polian-falcons-going-to-super-bowl

"“I really think Ryan is going to grow under new offensive coordinator Dirk Koetter, and I look for him to take a pretty big leap because of the nature of the offense,’’ Polian said. “It will not be the run-heavy offense of the past. It will be more wide open, and Ryan will get a chance to spread his wings.’’

Ironically, Polian has the Falcons playing the Baltimore Ravens in the Super Bowl. Ryan is forever linked to Baltimore quarterback Joe Flacco because they came out in the same draft class. However, Polian’s pick doesn’t come with a totally happy ending for Atlanta fans. He has the Ravens beating the Falcons in the Super Bowl."

hmm....NFL Football vs. the Democratic National Convention. I'd be curious to see how the ratings turn out.

They moved the first game from Thursday to Wednesday, so it wouldn't be on the same time as Obama's speech :whatever:

The Dolphins will be reportedly releasing David Garrard & it looks like they will be keeping Matt Moore for the time being

So it will be a SPECIAL WEDNESDAY EDITION OF THURSDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL?

THANK GOD IT'S THURSWEDNESDAY!

I never did get why they called it "SATURDAY EDITION OF THURSDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL"
Why not just call it Saturday Night Football?

Why the :whatever:? It's likely out of respect knowing that they'd sweep the ratings, and few people would view Obama's speech.

Yeah, I don't have a problem with it. Political affiliations aside, it's not really fair that one side has to go up against what will likely be one of the most viewed sporting events of the season while the most the other had to contend with was the early rounds of the US Open and some baseball games.

Reminds me of Saturday night college games on ABC..they call it "ESPN on ABC!"

Why not just Saturday night football on ABC?

Every sporting event on ABC is ESPN on ABC now. I miss the good ole days of ABC Sports.

there shouldn't be any qb controversy if matt moore goes to arizona. kolb and skelton are playing horrendously.

And Moore goes there and plays horrendously, then what do they do?

If the Panthers D stays healthy, then I can absolutely see a 10-6 season for Carolina.

As much as I would love for the Panthers to go 10-6, it's not happening. Especially with that schedule.

Gonna have my predictions up later tonight.

NFC North - Packers (1)
NFC South - Falcons (2)
NFC East - Eagles (4)
NFC West - 49ers (3)
WC - Saints (5)
WC - Giants (6)

AFC North - Steelers (2)
AFC South - Texans (3)
AFC East - Patriots (1)
AFC West - Chargers (4)
WC - Ravens (5)
WC - Bills (6)

Wild Card Weekend

49ers def Giants
Eagles def Saints
Texans def Bills
Ravens def Chargers

Divisonal Weekend

Packers def Eagles
Falcons def 49ers
Patriots def Ravens
Texans def Steelers

Conference Weekend
Packers def Falcons
Texans def Patriots

Super Bowl
Packers def Texans

I agree with you on every division winner except the AFC West, I think the Raiders will steal that division and Denver will get in over Buffalo.

What game are you guys getting on Sunday? I'm getting Falcons/Chiefs and Pats/Titans

I am lucky as hell. I'm about 3 towns away from being stuck with Minnesota/Jax

The SB winner is def coming out of the NFC again this year. It's either gonna be the Packers or Niners but the Saints and the Giants have their shot as well. I think the AFC is gonna all be about the Pats and Texans at the send of the season and neither one of them can beat any of the top 4 NFC teams.

I don't buy the Eagles, they have a lot to prove. And I don't understand why people are thinking the Falcons will do so well, I've seen quite a few SB predictions with them in it.

what are you talking about? matt moore never plays horrendously.

seriously though, kolb or skelton are doing nothing for arizona. might as well go with a quality player who doesn't piss on your chances of winning.

although to be fair to kolb and skelton, the o-line play badly as well.
