Jets must be the Greyjoys...We paid a price for that SB 3...Now we are suffering for it

The Packers have to be The Starks.

Even though Martin disagrees.

Matt Moore is Dany's dragon, a powerful creature of legend who rises from the flames of defeat. :hehe:

Hahahahaaha! Thank you so much Matt.

I don't understand these Game of Thrones references :csad:

Let's see, the AFC North in it's entirety would probably be the wildlings. You have murderers (Ray Lewis and the Ravens), rapists (Rapistberger and the Steelers), thieves (the Bengals sure as hell did rob Oakland of draft picks and gave next to nothing in return). And because everyone wants to watch Tyrion, no one gives a damn about that particular storyline....so the team no one cares about (the Browns).

I disagree that the Giants are the Starks. If anything, the Mannings are Tangaryns. The come from a long, southern pedigree that probably consists of inbreeding. You have Peyton (Viserys), the heir apparent who believes he is entitled to everything. Then little brother Eli as Dany, who has risen from his brother's shadow and surpassed him through real leadership. That would make the Giants representativ of Qarth. After all, New York is the greatest city in the world, like Qarth and much like Qarth you have many factions vying to control it (the Giants and the Jets).

I think you are right, the Packers are the Starks. Guardians of the North, the fall of their old leader (Favre) resulted in the young wolf whom everyone underestimated (Rodgers) becoming an unstoppable warrior.

I'm pretty sure all three of these words can go with the Bengals. :oldrazz: They also have a drug dealer iirc.

So Justin Blackmon got arrested for DUI.

Cut the kid a break. He saw his NFL career begin and end on the same day (he was drafted by the Jaguars). You'd be drinking too.

Nice comparison. I think the Vikings must be the people who sworn to the Black; it explains why the roof of their stadium was caved in by massive snow. :oldrazz:

So now the NFL has another labor ordeal, this time with the referees. They will use scabs. This means no Ed Hochuli for a while.

Im not surprised they locked them out but I heard on the radio this morning some guys were trying to start a theory where the players would be outraged and not play with replacement refs. I started laughing because you know the players couldnt care less. I read Hochuli makes about $80,000 a season which isnt bad for working one day a week but I would ask for more too when the NFL keeps throwing around how many billions they pull in a year. I would ask for atleast $150,000 a season with travel expenses and time spent training and going through ref camps.

80,000 a season? Sign me up for ref school.

https://***********/#!/AdamSchefter@AdamSchefter After unsuccessfully trying to trade WR Chad Ochocinco throughout the day Thursday. The Patriots are releasing him.

Ochocinco could be helpful on a young team, I think he can give atleast one more year of quality ball.

So can anyone explain why Ochocinco was so bad last season? I totally forgot he was on a team all last season.

Maybe, teams could just be waiting to take a shot at him on the waiver wire. But honestly, I think any benefit of Ochocinco is outweighed by his negative impact in the locker room. Young teams do not need distractions like that.

There is one team that if I were their GM I would even consider signing Ocho, Detroit. His personality fits in perfectly with Schwartz's culture and he could be effective in certain situations, either serving as a distraction to open up Megatron or being a cheap and effective deep threat when Megatron is double (or triple) covered.

Given Patriots' heavy usage of TE and slot WR, I think they were using Ochocinco to try to create a diversion away from other receivers, but evidently it didn't work too well because opposing team's DC were smart enough to see pass their plan. I think Ochocinco will eventually ended up like his old pal TO, unless he can find a way to turn his career around.

I'd take Ocho on the Fins. I mean honestly, name another WR on the Fins.

But would that kind of presence really be a good thing in Philbin's locker room? The last thing he needs is to have to deal with a diva personality during his first season, while trying to feel out and and gain the control and respect of his team.

As long as he produces.
