Didn't Skelton do pretty well last night?

4/6, 32 Yards and led them to a TD?

for a preseason game thats not bad given the time he was in and now with kolb hurt the cards will be extra careful with skelton because after him they have no one to be happy about. between him and kolb though I noticed the offense had a more upbeat tempo when skelton took over.

Skelton's got a more powerful arm. He's actually kind of decent, just nobody notices.

@AdamSchefter Looks like ESPN didn't stay at Jets camp long enough: Brawl at Jets camp involving about 20 players.

They were probably debating that "wild speculation" about when and if Tebow will be the starter.

And the man in the back (Rex Ryan) screamed "everyone attack!" and they broke into a ballroom blitz.....

ballroom blitz!

The organization isn't that bad, they've assembled a great core of position players, just can't find a QB, smartest thing for them to do is throw this season and draft a QB. A QB like Matt Ryan or Joe Flacco would be enough to make them Super Bowl threats.

They're really not that stacked. Like TIH, their defense isn't very good, their offense can score points on occasion but that always comes with multiple turnovers. If they win eight games this year, it's only because they're in a suckfest of a division.

Even if they start out well, it will only be a matter of time before they collapse into oblivion. They're a... HOUSE OF CARDS! :rimshot:

So the Seahawks are supposedly going to sign Terrell Owens.

Glad to see another irrelevant player on the league's most irrelevant team. After Matt Flynn turns out to be Kevin Kolb 2.0 and gets hurt, I can see T.O. throwing fits over Tavaris Jackson's inability to throw the ball to him (or anyone for that matter).

Hahaha. T.O. will probably incite anarchy & descension within the team really soon, if he don't get his way.

Okay, SECOND most irrelevant team.

To be fair, the Jaguars are so irrelevant, it's hard to remember them even when discussing teams that don't matter.
We need a THIS GUY about Kevin Kolb.

Also people, get ready for the 2012 NFL pick em! Coming very soon.

If the cards had a QB that could get the ball to Fitz and manage his turnovers while making use of the other targets they'd be money. Peterson is the next Devin Hester when it comes to punt returns, and has the potential to be a shut down corner. They also have some underrated RBs. A QB would do so many good things for them its not funny.

There is one option that makes sense for them though...I'll go ahead and restart the Brett Favre Watch

So Weeden was named the start, kinda suprised but it looks like Shurmur really is just a puppet.

Also, Pete Carroll sucks

Surprised, really? You don't draft a twenty-eight year old quarterback to have him sit for a season. This was always going to happen. McCoy never had a shot.

Haha, it's coming. I hope that when the Cards play a Monday night game this year, Kolb is healthy (although that's a 1 in 50 shot) so we can hear all about how this will be his year and he'll justify that $65 million contract by throwing 70 TD passes to Fitzgerald en route to winning the Super Bowl 87 to 3.

Then again, it might be just as interesting to hear Gruden talk up the immortal John Skelton, the brave soldier, who in his bravery, bravely stepped in when his fallen comrade went down to bravely lead the team to victory (despite throwing three picks). Skelton, the young buck who might not have the big contract, the cannon arm, the storied history or washboard abs of Kolb... but what he does have is the trust and respect of his teammates, that he can get them through this difficult stretch... that he can keep them afloat long enough for Kolb to return and lead them into the post season.

Terrell Owens in Seattle. I wonder if he's going to call out Matt Flynn if he doesn't get his ten catches a game.

I was wondering why no one was taking Burress while Moss, Johnson and Owens were being snatched up but apparently, he's asking for too much.

Yeah, totally shot himself in the foot there. :rimshot:

Also have to consider that Burress is no where near what he was. Moss, Ocho, and TO still have a little left in the tank.

I'm not so sure about TO and Ocho since they have really tailed off in their production. Plus, TO is 38 and coming off an ACL injury.
