Reactions from the "general public"

Today I showed the trailer to two friends. One of them thought it looks amazing, he said Beast looks very cool and fierce, and the other one (he doesn't like X-Men so much, and is always annoyed by my constant mention of them haha) thought it also looks great! :D I wanna show it to the rest of my friends.

Saw V tonight. I loved loved loved it! It had quite the turn out for a monday night showing. They played the X3 teaser and I heard some whispers, but thats about it. I was kind of bumbed they didn't play the full trailer, im sure it would have gotten a much bigger reaction.

Awesome experience man:up: It looks like the general movie-going audience is excited about this one which is great news.Oh and about Tokyo Drift,I'm pretty sure that the entire audience wept silently too. That movie looks like absolute crap on a stick!!!
yeah, Unfortunately only the teaser in my theatre. :o Still got a reaction though.

I feel the same about that new fast and the furios. And I happened to slightly like the other two. That trailer actually bored me.

Well, here's hoping that it'll be with Stay Alive this weekend...maybe even Inside Man...

My friend (who isn't really fan, has just seen x2 and liked it) actually wants to see the trailer but not to the extreme to download it. I tell her about how cool it is and she is actually excited to see it. The same goes with my sister (who knew how much I liked the cartoon (and saw some episodes) as a kid). I showed her the trailer and she thought it was kick ass and got all excited when she saw beast and Wolverine. I also frequent some shakira forums and some seem excited about it too. I think there are alot of people that are looking forward to the movie and are gonna see it no matter what, we just don't realize how many there are because they aren't as hardcore as some of us.

I was not interested in X-Men at all until I saw the trailer for X3. I think it was the writing that did it -- especially when Xavier says that line about "...the better and worse angels inside of us..." That stuck in my head. After that, I decided to check it out, and rented the first two and really liked them. Now I'm kinda hooked, and I'm really psyched for X3!

today, some two random girls were walking around at school while reading a magazine. on one of the pages, there was halle berry in it. then one of them said: is she still storm? and then the other one said yes and she started talking about how much she wanted to see the new X-Men because she saw the trailer... it put a smile on my face:)

Thats awesome! welcome to the hype :D

Last saturday I was at an uncle's birthday party and one of my cousins (he's 23) from Mexico City was like "Dude! Have you seen THE trailer?" And I was like "WTF?" And then I got it was the X3 trailer because he knows how much I love the X-Men. He told me it looks amazing, that all the characters look great, he was SO hyped lol

I can't wait to see the trailer on the big screen, maybe it'll be attached to Final Destination 3 which is just being released here tomorrow and if not then I'm pretty sure that it'll play with Ice Age 2 which comes out next week.

Oh also, yesterday an aunt (50 years old) called me and told me she went with my uncle (41) to see Pryde and Prejudice and they saw the X3 trailer, though I don't know if it was the actual trailer or the teaser. My uncle told her that's the movie I'm really looking forward to. I thought it was funny how they remembered :p.

I've heard some great reviews on the movie. Unfortunately, my nearest theatre is renovating and won't open again in about three months. The next nearest is about a 30-min drive. Will it be worth it if I hop on a bus and go watch VFV?

No cinemas for 1/2 hr?

Do you live in the sticks?

No. :p Suburbs. I said my closest theatre is going under a huge rebuilding. Probably will be finished in June.

June  That's too late

Where are you watching X3?

OF COURSE, I will hop onto a bus and head for the theatre 30-min away from where I live. :o:D For sure.

It's good to know that the X-men fanbase is expanding every day!

^The fanbase shall grow into an army and we will take over the world!

Oh yes, absolutely. I saw V for Vendetta twice now, and I must tell you that it's really fantastic. I actually just decided to watch it so I could see the X3 trailer attached to it, but I really wasn't prepared for V itself. I didn't know anything about the graphic novel, but I enjoyed the movie very much. :D

Of course, you should probably call the theatre first and ask in which screen the trailer is attached to. Then again, I'm telling you that even if you were one of the unlucky ones who didn't get the trailer, V4V the movie itself wouldn't disappoint.

Anyway, on topic, I showed the trailer to my sister and she got absolutely giddy at the sight of Angel, lol, though for some bizaare reason she kept calling him "Archangel" and I had to keep telling her that Archangel isn't in the movie yet. :o She also couldn't believe that Jean just said, "Kill me..."

I also sent the link to my boyfriend, and he really loved it. He's more of a Spider-man fan, but he appreciates the X-movies too and when he saw the trailer, he couldn't stop saying "Beast is so f***ing awesome!!!". :D He showed the trailer to his college buddies too and they all loved Magneto, and got absolutely shocked at the Quill character. :p

^Yeah, it looks like an awesome movie and judging from what everyone is saying, it won't disappoint. I've seen the trailer for the first time a few days ago and I was in awe. I know absolutely nothing about the graphic novel. So, I should be in it for a treat. ;)

Yeah...I enjoyed it too and I didn't know much about the graphic novel either..

^Oh - thanks! :D I'll have to avoid that board. Don't wanna find out anything before seeing the film. :p

Ps: John Hurt and Natalie Portman was AWESOME in the trailer.
