I really liked the pilot, although the idea is ripped off. The guy who plays the main character is quite loveable but he definetely has to grow into the role more. His best friend is hilarious.
There were some scenes where you could feel they didn't have money for proper special effects but nothing like the Flash Gordon pilot where it really got on your nerves how cheap the whole thing felt. All in all it was pretty ok, though I would've expected a bit more from Kevin Smith when it comes to representing the devil. If he can make Allanis Morisette into God, why couldn't he make a decent, original Devil?
