Another great episode.

I lost it when Sock broke the chair and the bird house. :D

I loved when he couldn't stop laughing when the store was attacking them. I just wished he would've said something along the lines of "I'm so scared! I don't want to die here!"

dammit, I missed it again... are they gonna show a repeat on thursday like they did last week?

Am I the only one who thinks that Andi is more involved in this stuff than anyone expects? I dont know, she just seems off to me. Personally I think the devil is her Dad, hence telling people her dad died. Or am I just looking for conspiracies?

You might be on to something. I do agree she just seems to be...there.

I could see her being the devil's daughter, but I don't think she'll be anything more than the love interest for Sam, it's set up from the begining the Sam likes her, but extenuating circumstances has kept them apart. I do think she'll get in on some demon capturing though sooner rather than later.

I thought the devil was very original, not the evil, fire & brimstone kind, but a nice guy who knows his role and the job he's tasked with. Yeah he'll threaten you if you don't do your job, but he'll do with a smile, a nice fatherly smile, not an evil smile.

That's one of the things I'm liking best about the series.

Just watched my DVR of ep 2 last night. This show is blowing me away! It's so well done, from the writing to the acting to the directing to the effects department... I'm so confused, is this on the CW or what?!?!?!??!

Saw the 2nd episode and it's still a very entertaining show. I'm liking the actor who plays Sam more and more. He's funny and loveable. Sock ain't so bad either but he's like the love child of Jay and Silent Bob, while I don't hold that against him his behaviour feels just too familiar to me.

Sam is the soul of the show and why i'm enjoying it so much. His boss ain't half bad either. :)

Yeah, and that's really what is making this show tick. The supporting players were so well cast that this show could roll on cruise control. But instead, they seem to have a capable writing staff AND a good FX team. :wow:

....But the boss is perfect. And this show's representation of the workworld is almost scarier than the horror subplot! (TOO accurate! :csad:)

Yeah, the boss is a perfect example of a boss in a store like that, they know deep down that they're career track stopped a long time ago and now is just trying to use what little power he has to make other people's lives as miserable as his.

And it's not PC to go around firing everyone anymore, so it makes sense that he will continue to try different attempts to counter the disgruntled employees.

I thought the second episode was really weak and basically a re-tread of the pilot.

1. But I don't wanna be a bounty hunter for the devil!
2. You have to stop this demon who has a connection to an element!
3. My friends and I will try to stop him and the one guy gets hurt again!
4. I'll tell my friends that I didn't wanna drag them into this, but they say that they're with me to the end and then I go fight element demon by myself and save the day!
5. Oh, and we'll try that protective suit thing from the last episode too...

And please, a "Sam, I only wanted to hear the truth." subplot? Really?

I liked the pilot enough to keep watching, but I will watch the third episode to see if maybe this episode was just a minor dip in their creativity.

okay, what channel does this com on and what time?

I don't want to miss this again

1. Sam has been getting away with being a slacker for 21 years, that's gonna be a hard habit to break.
2. Well, he's probably gonna have to stop a demon every week, so if you're not into "x of the week" stories, you should probably tune out.
3&4. Yeah, sucks that he has friends that wanna help. Plus they do have no experience, makes sense that at least one gets hurt. Also, Sock was pretty useful when Sam captured the demon in the first episode, distracting the demon, in the end though, it's always gonna be Sam capturing the demon.
5. They actually used protective suits during the second confrontation last time, this time they went in more prepared.

Also, the Sam I only wanted to hear the truth subplot was great, would've gotten old really fast if they kept the mom out of the loop. Plus she probably would have wanted the truth, since she's part of the reason he's in the situation he's in.

He even does nice things for people he likes [or wants to use]. Like when he setup Sam to work with Andi in the garden center.

I loved the look on his face as he was walking away and he pushed the shopping cart in front of the car. :D

I like their version of the devil, it's kind of how I imagined him being. It's a lot easier to trick and manipulate people when you come at them like a friend after all, which is what he's all about.

I must really be missing something...I watched the pilot and thought it was really dull. :/

Well, different strokes for different folks I guess, especially when it comes to comedy. :o

Haha. This show is great. I think personally myself that Andi has more to her than cute girl Sam likes. What really tipped me off was when she said ''At least were in hell together."

Solid episode tonight. The bug A-Story was kinda blah, but it was nice to see Sam confront his feelings for Andi.

LOL @ the devil's thumbs up after the asbestos thing. :D
