The murder of Jean Dewolff is a good story. But they could change it and replace Sin-Eater with Scorpion.

Or Shocker. Speaking of which, how do you guys think Shocker should look if he's used? Should they stick to his classic look or should they modify it a bit? (Just please God, don't go with the Ultimate look)

I feel it should be Scorpion, because if he was an experiment of a super soldier serum where the side effects made him into a psycho, and his suit could be created from S.H.I.E.L.D. also,it would make him a better choice so he can physically fight spider-man.

Shocker could just be a guy who just gets a super tech weapon from the Timkerer who could be a arms dealer who sells high tech weapons/gadgets to criminals making the city more dangerous.

I'd prefer the classic look. If the reboot happens, it'll release in Phase 3. We'll be well into the "age of miracles", and super powered people will be much more common than they were in Phase 1. Costumed villains make more sense now. Besides, he's a criminal. The costume could partially be his disguise, like real robbers and the masks they wear.

Shocker should stay with the original look,he needs a suit to protect him from the effects of the blasters.

Agreed. The "quilted" look was specifically designed for that purpose. What should the blasts themselves look like?

Maek it like how it was done in Spectacular Spider-Man?

Yeah, that would do it, maybe just lighter in color though. The blasts would only be coming from his hands rather than his entire body, which would maybe help with the Electro confusion that I think is inevitable.

I was thinking to make it look like Banshee's scream from Xmen First Class.

That'd be awesome! Someone suggested he be introduced like Batroc in TWS, which would be great if Peter's already been Spider-Man for a while.

Shocker's costume from the asm2 game wasn't bad:

It's a bit too boxy for me, plus that was supposed be kind of a proto-Shocker anyway I think. The game sucked in a lot of other respects haha. Kraven's design was cool though.

any of the members from the sinister six which havent been on screen so far

The game was garbage, but I loved the character designs!

Classic Shocker look is the way to go. I don't think the Shocker should be a super-threatening villain, so the look works in their favor.

If Mysterio is involved and frames Spidey, it might be bring forth an opportunity to include The Punisher :hmm

Based on Spidey's comic book history and The Spectacular Spider-Man cartoon, I'd be partial to the Vulture being the first villain. If they made him the original inventor of the Falcon's tech, that would be kind of cool.

The classic costume really embodies the essence of the character. He doesn't care how he looks, he's all about practicality. If it gets the job done, it could be a pink bunny suit and he'd still wear it.

I would love Vulture as a main villain, especially if marvel doesn't want a sympathetic villain this time around. Plus, Vilture does more than just fly, he's an inventor and he has a lot of cool tech

I've always leaned more toward using Vulture as a minor villain or as part of the Sinister Six (SS as villains in a Spidey flick, not SS as antiheroes in some crackpot spin off movie). I could see Adrian Toomes working as the primary villain if they also brought in his "successor" Blackie Drago, though. You could have a fun duo going there. The older, wiser Toomes and the younger, stronger Drago.

I actually think that Shocker should be a super-threatening villain. The amount of damage he can do to not only Spidey but the area around him is phenomenal. I find his costume to be somewhat sinister actually
