But we already have a sympathetic Ock that worked flawlessly, now we need a more sinister "master-planner" type of Doc Ock.

Norman Osborn should start as an antagonist and he shouldn't become completely evil until he turns into the Green Goblin.

We need a cunning and sinister Ock this time around. Molina's Ock was gold, they shouldn't try to replicate it.

And I can see them keeping Norman in a neutral position up until the Goblin. He can be a tough-love kind of father and takes-no-s*** businessman, but we don't need to hate him right from the get-go.

For Doc Ock i would like to see more of a classic look lab coat round dark glasses and perhaps green overalls. An actor i would like to see but not mentioned for Ock is David Caruso. i also have him in mind for casting Arcade but that's just one wish that i know won't happen anytime soon. Stanley Tucci also for Doc Ock,?

Mysterio always my No1 again can keep his trademark dome but I think the Daft Punk look would be possible to modify. An actor for Mysterio. Michael Keaton, Zachary Quinto or Tom Cavanagh.

Shocker if he appears can hopefully have a few memorable scenes as a side threat not connected to main villain. Pretty sure given decent writer's Shocker and Rhino can be again updated. Imagine Rhino being a super genius in his suit and well the outlook could be a fun ride. Just ideas folks.

If they do Norman Osborn , I would assume he would be sort of the counter weight to Downey's Tony Stark. As such, I would like to see him as much more of a charismatic , Steve Jobs like innovator and public figure. I would see him as the kind of guy who would inspire people like young Peter Parker as opposed to the repressed straight laced versions we've seen so far. That would further add to Harry inability to live up to his more charismatic dynamic father. Now of course he would still be a SOB as alot of ambitious and successful people can be, but I would want to see him as a much more of a charismatic character as opposed to the way he was portrayed by Dafoe and Cooper. I would frankly see an outside the box type casting of someone like Brad Pitt in the role as opposed to the typical actors who play villains being cast in the role.

I also agree that Doc Ock needs to be the evil genius not the sympathetic guy. It worked for the context of the Raimi film but for the new film I want him to truly be a villain .

As for the villain , I think Chameleon and Kraven would work the best in the context of the S.H.E.I.L.D./Hydra back drop of the MCU along with Kingpin and his organization after the same thing, and fighting each other for it.

If the Osborns are reintroduced, I'd like to see Norman be more of an Emperor Palpatine-type or similar to what he was in "Spectacular Spider-Man." I wouldn't have him become Green Goblin or any Goblins till movie 3 or 4. I think it's time we stay away from Goblins for a few movies so people can see other villains and get reacquainted with them before going there again, but here's hoping, if a deal is made with Marvel Studios, we get a Green Goblin who actually has green skin or a mask and wears a suit similar to the comics. A purple hood I would be fine with. Plus, I want to see a Dark Avengers movie.

The Green Goblin needs to be a finale villain. And yes, they need to break from the tech look for him.

This.

I think they should give us something we have never seen before. Look the villain in Skyfall, No Country for Old Men. Classic and memorable. I want villain as nauced and sophisticated as that for Spider-Man and only lazy and unimaginative writers and hands on producers have prevented us getting that.

So you want him to be Mark Zuckerberg? :oldrazz: :lmao:

I'll be happy to see a totally wicked villain with no sympathy, but they have to be multifaceted. There needs to be at least some human elements there, wit, humor, etc. I'm not saying they're bad villains, but the reason that Malekith and Ronan were weaker villains was because there wasn't much to them as characters. That being said, I don't want someone like Sandman, who really felt more like a punching bag for Spidey than an actual antagonist.

I'd bet your sweet bum that lizard will be in the second solo movie, probably along side with someone else like Kraven

If Lizard is in the sequel, he should look like this:

Swarm.

Use Swarm.

Get Nic Cage to play him.

Actually the deal that was revealed in the emails is that if Garfield is fired they get to use Swarm. Played by Nicolas Cage.

Apparently in this version instead of bees, he is composed of small Nicolas Cages. At one point they will have a musical number

Would you bet my sweet bum that Kraven probably won't appear until a later movie?

There arent that many spidey villains that are both unused and have potential to be a movie main baddie, and it's pretty clear that they'd much rather go through the unused first

Kingpin, Mysterio, Kraven, Scorpion, Spider Slayers, Hobgoblin, Carnage (though it'd be a huge mistake to actually use Carnage before Venom), the mob in general with characters like Hammerhead, Silvermane, and/or Tombstone, Morbius...

Vulture, Chameleon, Morlun, Shocker, Beetle...

I say pair up two lesser baddies, like Shocker and Rhino, or Scorpion and Mysterio. Multiple villains can work, look at Winter Soldier or Days of Future Past.

All of this! :up::up::up:

I really want a triple threat kinda film with Spidey, Lizard and Kraven.

As if stress wasn't enough for Peter Parker, his alter-ego can't seem to catch a break. Shortly after the events of the first film, Peter Parker is now caught between his personal life and secret life. From having a strained relationship with his friends - particularly Gwen (you could use Mary Jane instead)-, noticing Aunt May's financial problems, and struggling to stay awake in his classes, things haven't been easy.

While that has been going on, his Biology teacher Dr. Connors has been having his own problems lately. Suffering from depression and "lack of meaning" due to only having one arm, along with his family's constant worry of him, he has decided that he should be unhappy no more.

Taking matters into his own hands, Connors uses a serum made up of reptilian DNA in hopes of regenerating his lost arm. While successful and his family happy, his wife notices scales along his body. Too late to cure himself, he begins to mutate thus giving birth to the monstrous Lizard.

Shortly after, news has broke out in South Africa about a giant Lizard roaming around with a Spider on its tail, and this may just be a perfect opportunity for a hunt. Enter Sergei Kravinoff, better known by his screen-name 'Kraven The Hunter', a world famous 'big game' hunter who has promised to squash the Spider and slay the beast.

Can Spidey get his life in balance, and save Connors from both himself and Kraven? Or will his 'Parker Luck' continue?

I'd also use these:

(just bigger eyes, jet black webbing, and a smaller front spider)

As inspirations on the designs.

The Spider-Man 3 game had a plot like that, with Kraven hunting Lizard and Peter caught in between them.

I'd like to see Kraven or Doc Ock be the direct cause of Connors going Lizard, as a way destroying Peter from the inside by hitting him close to home (I'm assuming Peter and Connors will have at least a somewhat close relationship, as they do in most adaptations)

The only two already used villains I wanna see again are Goblin and Ock. Ock should be used sooner though.
