I want to see the REAL Venom in a future Spidey film. Not some skinny angst filled Venom who wears "nice and easy". I want a vicious, massive, vengeful Venom.

Oh yeah, he's gotta be a hulking monster, not a whiny guy in a black suit with essentially the same build as spiderman himself

If they ever did adapt Death of Jean Dewolff, I've always had a feeling they'd replace sin-eater with a bigger villain. Shocker would be my pick.

Sin-Eater was pretty cool though

^
I can see them using a bigger villain for that story too, maybe for better action/fight scenes. That's why I would choose the e Scorpion to be in it.

You're absolutely right. Webb wanted to have Connors' humanity shine through the Lizard, but the lizard persona should almost be like a demon possessing Connors

I would want Connors to be afraid of what he's become, and more afraid of what he could possibly do to his family and thousands of innocent people.

Connors should be portrayed as a good great man, whereas Lizard should be portrayed as a sinister, uncontrollable monster.

It should be an internal struggle/clash for control, with The Lizard taking over more often than Connors.

I don't want to see Venom being the same size as Abomination,he looks dumb being that big.

I just don't want to see Venom for a while, period.

I like the idea of having major villains (Gobby, Ock, Venom) as the final film, with smaller villains (Vulture, Mysterio, Kraven, etc.) being in the first/second film(s).

So you want him to be Mark Zuckerberg? :oldrazz: :lmao:

No, I'd want him to actually be charismatic genius much like Downey's Stark. Zuckerberg has been called many things, but charismatic ain't one of them. I also doubt anyone would consider him remotely resembling Brad Pitt...

Looks like Marvel is using Doc Ock as the villain for Antman.

I hate when Venom looks like a giant, he should look big but not like the Hulk :o otherwise the action wouldn't be as interesting since Spidey would be fighting a monster like the Lizard.

I think the creative liberties they're taking with that film are really cool, however, also very weird. Why does Yellowjacket have extra arms and why is Darren Cross Yellowjacket??? I'm sure they're gonna have a hit on their hands in the end though (at least I hope)

I don't want him extremely massive. He needs to be just slightly larger than Spider-Man in height and build. I don't want to see a Hulk Venom on screen.

I don't want him hulk size, when I say hulking I mean like bulky and muscular. He could be the same height as spiderman, or maybe 1/2 ft - a foot taller.

I don't want to see venom for a while though, so many other more complex and interesting villains to see

Even though I want Venom to be held off for a few films, I don't think he's engrained in the public's mind as much as Goblin. I think everyone knows who he is, but we haven't seen enough of him onscreen for it to be an issue, say, if Marvel decided to use him sooner than we think.

With them exploring the universe in Avengers/Thor/Guardians Of The Galaxy, it wouldn't surprise me if they went with Venom sooner rather than later.

I've mentioned this before, but I'd like to see them use elements of venom in other films and tv shows. I wanna see a pre-flash Thompson agent venom project on agents of shield. I liked what they did with Inhumans, and it's exciting to think of what they could do with spiderman lore at their disposal

Exactly

I think there could even be hints of him outside of Spidey's solo films before he's eventually introduced there.

Plus, given Venom's origins were recently explored in GotG #21, I wouldn't be surprised if they already have a correlation to Spidey's world in mind.

Shocker could if they did the death of Jean DeWolff story and replaced Sin-Eater with Shocker.
But that would be entirely against Shocker's character. He's not a killer, and he's definately not the type of guy to go around on a high profile killing spree.

And yeah, we need Venom to get his due. And in the MCU, it would be much easier to pull off the alien symbiote, as they already have a vast, previously established, cosmic universe.

Venom really isn't interesting to me as a villain, but it'd be nice to see him done right on screen. That being said, I would still prefer the older, "classic" villains that haven't been used yet have their turn first. Mysterio, Kraven, Vulture, etc.

I hope Marvel pulls an Afleck and makes a seasoned Spider-Man (high school or not) who's dealt with most of his foes and exists in a dark but of course flashy version of post invasion New York filled with costumed vigilantes and villains. One thing Cap 2 proved was you can shove as many antagonists in a movie as you want as long as you don't give them all an origin and establish that they've been around.

It really doesn't. Either way, I don't wanna see Ock again for a while when Spidey has so many different villains to choose from.

They shouldn't start off with anyone like Green Goblin, Venom, Carnage or Doc Ock (imo). I'd rather they set them up as background characters first & spend the first two films utilizing villains we haven't seen on-screen yet.

I wonder if Spidey were to come into the MCU if they could deal with the symbiont's alien origin on something like Agents of Shield or a GotG2 credits stinger. Something that could explain how it ended up on Earth and makes it so they don't have to go the SM3 route with the random meteor landing nearby Peter.

But that would be entirely against Shocker's character. He's not a killer, and he's definately not the type of guy to go around on a high profile killing spree.

I don't think Shocker has never killed, but I agree it's completely out of character. Shocker is not a serial killer. He's a hired thug/thief usually.
