If Marvel gets the rights to Spider-Man, then we could see some of Spider-Man's lower rouge villains appear on Agents Of Shield. Tom Welling could play someone like Hydro-Man, as that show would be perfect for him to appear on, as well as the villain.

Boomerang, Beetle, Overdrive, chameleon, shocker, Hydro-man, dare I say it: Santa Claus burglar!

The sony deal would open up a floodgate of story options for all mediums of the MCU!

Vulture and Lizard sound good. Maybe Kraven or Scorpion as the third villain. Mysterio would be cool, but they should save him for the fifth one.

While I love Tom Welling & agree with notion of him portraying another comic book character, I don't think Venom would be the right one for him.

In fact, I don't really think Spider-Man would be the franchise for him. He'd fit in better somewhere like in the GOTG or Captain America series.

I think he could make a very good venom with the right script. I think he is a good actor over all and like I said in the first few episodes where he played a bad clark on red k on Smallville and the few episodes where he played a bad clark in an allternite time line he did great. He can play bad intimidating very while and I think he deseverse to be in more movies has he has not done much outside of Smallville. He is a big guy to has he is like 6'3 so he would be a good size has he is bigger then the like the 5'10 spider man. So yeah I think he could make a mermorbole venom if given the change.

I personally didn't like The Lizard in TAS. While I would love to see him again (being one of my favorite villains), I imagine he'll be put on the back burner. Electro I don't see them touching again unless they have Spidey take on the Sinister Six at some point (I'd prefer Shocker take his place, though).

They should use someone completely new for a reboot.

Mysterio
Vulture
Scorpion
Kraven

Vulture is my choice, with Doc Ock in the sequel.

I thought of a plot where MacGargan has a lot of debt to the Kingpin and the only way to pay for it is to do the Scorpion experiment which of course is meant to kill Spider-man. I don't think that JJ's involvement on that in a movie would fit quite as well as it did in the comics, where any goofy weird stuff could happen

I have for a long time imagined a sequence where furious Scorpion tries to go and take revenge on kingpin and then he has to confront Kingpin's new personal bodyguard, Shocker. not exactly qourmét screen writing but just a little something that might get a fan excited between all the dialogue

I like the idea of Kingpin funding the creation of Scorpion and think it would be a great route to go if they didn't have Jonah responsible. I'd include the alien costume saga as well, since Kingpin was around in the '90s animated series when Spider-Man started wearing it. Brock, Kingpin, Scorpion, Sin Eater and the symbiote all in one film from Marvel would be everything I want in a Spider-Man movie.

yeah I remember that plot very fondly. really liked the "prometheum x" stuff they wrote for it. I just can't wait to see Vincent D'onofrio's Kingpin (the Dare Devil netflix series, though he could play a part in marvel's Spidey movies), even more than Ultron

**The reason I suggest multiple villains is because marvel knows how to handle side-characters. If sony does the reboot, they shouldn't even attempt more than one antagonistic character.

Film 1: Mysterio with Punisher and Osborn's Iron Patriot as side antagonists
Film 2: Dock Ock with Lizard and Morbius as side antagonists
Film 3: Kraven and Calypso
Film 4 and 5: The Black Suit Saga featuring Daredevil, Sin-Eater and Venom
Film 6: Green Goblin (The Grand Finale)

Film 7: Miles Morales as Spiderman; Morlun and The Inheritors

Film 4: Green Goblin, Kingpin

Kingpin three times, Green Goblin and Kraven twice, but no Doc Ock?

No Spider-Man franchise is complete without him. It would be like a Batman franchise without Joker or Two Face.

OK, here's how I want it

Film 1: Mysterio, Shocker, Kingpin

Film 2: Doctor Octopus, Vulture, Kraven, Calypso

Film 3: Kraven, Calypso, Rhino (KLH adaptation w/Rhino in Vermin's role)

Film 4: Green Goblin

ah ****, you're right!

I like the idea of introducing Kraven as a side villain before adapting KLH. That's really how it has to be done, to give the story justice

I can't wait when the new series has a new Norman Osborn and then a few of those people that actually remember what happened in TASM2 but are dumb enough to be that easily confused will be like "he... he was dead? explain movie!!!! O_O"

^^they deserve it for not keeping up with spiderman news :oldrazz:

I want Norman to be a prominent figure in the MCU for a long time before he goes goblin.

Yeah, I agree. I would hold off on the Goblins for awhile.

I would do something like this:

Film 1: Kingpin, The Enforcers
Film 2: Mysterio, The Master Planner (Doc Ock)
Film 3: The Sinister Six (Ock, Mysterio, Sandman, Rhino, Electro, Vulture)

Exactly. Don't just shoehorn it into the first movie he's in. Also, all of those other villains could easily make appearances in future movies after they are introduced. No need for a villain of the week kinda thing.

Also, the final movie could very well be the Sinister Six. My dream lineup

Green Goblin

Doctor Octopus

Mysterio

Vulture

Shocker

Rhino

Recent pic of Vince. This has to be one of the best casting decisions from Marvel that I've seen this dude is Wilson Fisk incarnate.

Green Goblin needs to be in Spider-Man 3

I also don't want the franchise going past 4 films.

You know who shouldn't be in the next series? Black Cat!

Why not?
I liked Raimi's idea for her.
Where her boss pushes her out a window and she dies, only to be brought back from the dead by a flock of vultures nibbling on her corpse, eventually resurrecting herself in a skintight, feathery costume, dubbing herself as The Vulturess...

D'Onofrio looks incredible I'd expect nothing but casting that brilliant for the spiderman franchise!
