Recommend A Movie Thread....

Ah, well for me I had no idea other than some friends built something with one intention of replacing the engine for modes of transportation and ended up building something entirely different.

So for me it would have been a spoiler.

Great movie though, which is why I already recommended it.

Yeah, at least in the states the single word description for the film always has "friends build a time machine" or something. And it does get brought up early on too, so... yeah.

But I will say, I totally love going into movies cold and not knowing anything about them.

I saw the Descent when it first came out in Europe and all I thought it was about was a woman reeling from a tragedy and trying to get over it. Needless to say I **** my pants.

Nice, yeah I had no idea what The Matrix was about, I mean I saw half a trailer if that and went in completely cold. BLEW MY ****ING MIND.

I just finished watching "Match Point" by Woody Allen and never heard a thing about it,my brother bought it for me this past weekend and said it's worth checking out. I assumed it was a simple romantic drama, instead I find myself on the edge of my seat freaking out till the credits rolled.

I had the exact same experience with Match Point. Since it was Woody Allen, I thought I knew what kind of movie it was, so right up until the last minute, I totally didn't expect it go into the direction it went in at all. I was kinda blown away once it did.

It definitely helped that I had no idea what the movie was about, had I known the effect would of been still strong but nowhere near the impact it hit me with. I can't wait to watch it again!!

If anyone's into alternate history films watch

Fatherland
CSA: The Confederate States of America
Timequest
Red Dawn

Harry Potter: The Deathly Hollows Part II.

Not a huge HP fan, I like the movies enough, but this one was pretty good. Quick, to the point, no farting around.

Lady Hawke with Michelle Pfeiffer, Rutger Hauer and a young Matthew Broderick.
I consider this movie an under rated classic.
