No the game storyline is about 20 hours long...But we all were sidetracked with just experiencing the world and doing other challenges/stranger missions

I finished mine, main story, side quests and all challenges in about 29 hours.

To be honest, what really freakin pissed me off is that I took ages to get the Legend of the West outfit, that you can only really unlock near the end anyway, to do all the challenges. When I got it, I loved it, favourite outfit in the game. I got to wear it for two missions and then

I'm forced to wear the rancher outfit, and not allowed to change it, and after Marston dies, his Son looks really lame in like 80% of the costumes, most lame of all in the legend of the west. That really kinda pissed me off.

Just assembled my first outfit, the Bandito and didnt use any guides to find the pieces. Now I need to start looking for the other ones

Seemed the info I got was wrong and you can get the Spurred to Victory trophy with the DLC horse. I got it with my 29th mission. I dont recall ever having it die on me and I definetly havent used any. I did report from some that it might be glitched

This werewolf thing has got to be bull. Probably just a dead Lobo photoshopped into those pictures.

Some rumor, it was brought up on the last page.

I can't stand the fact that his voice is exactly the same as his 15 year old self. Ugh. Play the game on mute now. He has a vendetta against horses too.

That's why you look at the wiki first!

Says that you need to save before that if you ever want to use Marston again.

so i spent a full hour looking for an american standardbred. the stupidest thing about it though, is that i was just breaking any horse i saw in the area and two times i caught two dark brown horses, but they weren't fully black like i heard a standardbred was supposed to be, so i kept looking and looking.

finally i just left the area pissed off and went to the store and sure enough i had apparently broke one in since i could buy it at the store. so yeah...apparently a standardbred is not black and just really, really dark brown. :cmad:

One of the many glitches I encounter with this game: My black standard breed that I have hitched will occasionally be different colors (white, brown, mix, etc.) when I reload my save. It takes a few minutes to change back to black.

that's really odd.

my horse always looks very dark, almost black, but when it's sunny it's very brown.

I cant believe I literally played this game all day yesterday. Thank god for holidays

Finally began to start playing RDR this past long weekend, and while I'm still early in the game I can tell that it is already better than GTA4. I decided to redo the first couple of missions though because I kind of screwed up, and I wanted to get the full fame & monetary rewards for them, but they were due to my unfamiliarity with the controls (I forgot to use Dead Eye) and I don't think I'll be doing that again if I want to finish the game in reasonable amount of time. Btw, is it hard to make money in RDR? So far, the only money I made are from missions, although I haven't tried any of the mini-games like the Hold 'Em yet.

DLC drops Thursday, right? And it's free. Yay Rockstar.

What are we getting in the DLC?

Just got 100% complete, time played 49 hours, 35 minutes, 8 seconds. Had to do 13 bounties in a row. :down

Money isn't terribly hard to come by, just try to skin animals/loot bodies when you can. Bounty missions are good for quick injections of cash, especially if you can bring the guy in alive. I never had any money issues after I left McFarlanes.

So whats there to do once you complete 100%? I mean besides random encounters. Are there no more bounties at all? What about gang hideouts?

so a bit of weirdness in multiplayer...I joined a possee of about 5 guys, we hit some hideouts, everything is going nicely....one of the guys accidentally gets killed by another teammate...it happens...

so we finish that hideout and the guy that got accidentally greased stands there and starts shooting his horse, calls another horse, and shoots that one...keeps doing that for about 5 minutes...then tells us that he got killed and that "****ed his game up" so he's going to do the same to us

we all leave after another 3 minutes of his horse killing
