Refn Teaming with Gosling for Drive

I'm so glad that Cranston chose to do Drive over X-Men: First Class. However, I'm curious to know which role he turned down.

Not really digging the posters. Theyre not bad, but not that good either

Looking forward to this though

Well, I like the posters they've done, it's nice to see that the marketing is going well for this.

Sucks that the film is coming out November for me. :(

It would've been interesting to see him as Shaw. But, since that changed, maybe he was one of the CIA agents. Maybe even Stryker seeing as how he wasn't young in this reboot/prequel.

My guess is Oliver Platt's or Ray Wise's role, so either a CIA agent or the Secretary of State, neither of them are really a big role so it's good he picked Drive. It may be small but it's a bit more of a substantial one and it's good to see he had a great time shooting the film.

Yeah, it could have been one of those characters. Regardless, it was a wise choice by Cranston to do this film.

I'm pretty sure he said he was offered the role of Sebastian Shaw.

He read for the part of Shaw but they gave it to Bacon instead, so then he was offered a different role. That role is the one I'm wondering about.

This looks awesome and after seeing a few Ryan Gosling movies lately he is really growing on me, I think he would make a good Barry Allen.

Have you seen half nelson? Gosling is amazing in that movie.

That movie was great also. I showed the trailer to all of my friends now they want too see this movie as bad as I do. lol

He was flat-out amazing in Lars & the Real Girl. Loved that movie.

Have any of you seen that video of Gosling breaking up a street fight? Thing spread like wildfire this week. It's pretty funny. Dude is jacked up, too.

Just saw this movie. F*****g awesome.

9/10

Awesome! Has it been released anywhere in the U.S. yet?

I can't wait until September!
Nah, it was at a free screening that was followed by a Q&A with Refn (who is kind of hilarious, btw). But I will definitely be paying to see this movie again.

I can't wait for this movie, literally, I can't wait. I wake up in cold sweats and I have to watch the trailer just to ease my mind. :o

I totally want a bromance with Refn. He's quickly becoming one of my favorite directors. This movie looks so classy, it's ridiculous.

She didn't go full fangirl enough. It's Gosling, woman! Freak out more.
