So .. the TDK trailer. Was that freaking AWESOME or what?!! I love the way Ledger is doing Joker. I really wasn't sure about him at first, but after seeing that I think maybe Nolan knows what he's doing. His voice, attitude, everything was great from what little we saw. The makeup .. meh. It's a bit much but maybe he can pull it off. This is really exciting.

However ... the ginormous boulders on the Batcycle ...

I think that's the general consensus. I was cautiously optimistic when he was announced - Nolan being the director that he is, and Begins being as spot on 'character-wise' as it was. After I saw his performance in Lords of Dogtown my doubts were erased, and the trailer then confirmed my thoughts.

The suit is still questionable - but I didn't like the Begins suit either and I loved the movie despite it.

I have friends that are completely indifferent to comics and superhero movies that are psyched for this. At the very least it'll keep me from killing myself for a while longer.
