So who watched Smallville then??

There has been 2 things I’ve liked in the last 2 episodes. The ship launch from Krypton. Even although I thought the way Clark finds out about it was typically Smallville, restrained. It should have been an almost spiritual awakening that can only be brought about by Clark doing something in the fortress/caves. Not a memory tank. Anyway, this week the part where Lex starts turning. Every villain is the hero of their own story. None more so than Lex and after 3 years the finally set up a form of motivation.

Yeah - was pretty cool. I love the colours on Smallville(how gay does that sound) - the bright blue t shirt or the red blanket when he wakes up. Rosenbaum does an amazing job as Lex - he is head and shoulders above anyone else on the show acting wise.

I know they do all that stuff deliberatly but it's still good. I also like Jonathens lines about being a hero or mild mannered citizen.

Great episode. Loved the bit at the end with Lex saying maybe the hero is the villian. Finally some good writing on the show.

Yeah, that was great. I love that kind of corny stuff. And Clark sleeping in the hallway all night and his parents with him, stuff like that. And he wakes up and the red blanket flutters to the floor. I love all that stuff.

Grey, did you know that everyone on the show has their own "color palate?" And even the locales have a color palate of sorts. The farm is always bathed in a soft sunny light, because that is where Clark finds safety and security. But Metropolis has a blue / grey edge to it and is much sharper and harder because that is where so much villany occurs. I heard the producers speaking about that and I love that they even put that much thought into it. In fact, there are soo many cool things about that show, like the interactive maps, the ezra small prophecies and the torch on line, etc. It's all very cool.

In the U.S., this Wednesday's broadcast (5/19/04) is the FINAL episode of the 3rd season. If you're a fan, you DON'T want to miss that episode.

Average. Hard to take Baby Faced Pitt in that role. Direction was mediocre. Some parts were better than others. Overall, pretty forgettable unless you're into see BP all buffed up.

Millions.....right.
TW needs to get a damn haircut. I would have a better idea of what his Superman would look like if he had more trim hair. Oh no, I've crossed the line this time......

I agree that TW's hair is too long for Supes. In my mind, that's a good thing. That way, if he were to trim his hair and style it, people wouldn't recognize him right away. He would look different in a few years when he moves to Metropolis and makes his debut as Superman.

ps. I know that you've seen it Jon Tron, but I tried my best to manipulate TW's hair to look shorter and stylized in my photo manip on the manip thread. Hopefully that manip can help you visualize what he'd look like.

Back to last nights Smallville.....
I loved the red blanket around the shoulders bit...
And the "worlds greatest hero".."Mild mannered citizen" line...
Even tho it was a free of the week(ish) episode.. It was still bloody good...

The question... What/who was that flying over the talon?
