Does anybody remember when a 6 minute preview was leaked on the Internet? I believe it was footage shown at Comic-Con (simular to The Dark Knight footage in terms of length, but was not the first 6 minutes).

Do you remember the name of the footage (Dark Knight's was called "The Dark Knight Prologue")? Also, where can I find it online? I'd love to watch it again.

That's great! Thanx! After watching it, I remembered something. Wasn't there another version that showed the conversation Bruce and Alfred had after Rachel was sedated in the batcave (when Bruce was getting dressed for the birthday party)? I clearly remember that version.

Wow, and you guys weren't spoiled when you saw it? I missed all of the hype for Begins and went in with B & R expectations so, to say I was pleasantly surprised was an understatement.

I remember watching "Smallville" (back when it was semi-decent) and seeing the clip of Batman's escape from Arkham via the bats

Well it was on tv the night that Revenge of the Sith opened. I watched it then immediately left to go wait in line at the theater. By the time the movie started, I completely forgot I even saw a preview.

Ah, good old days. That movie is incredible, TDK's worthy predecessor.

^lol 'Good Old Days" ?

That was only 3 years ago...I remember that preview like it happened last night.

All the same, I never got the indication that people were expecting a bomb of "B&R" proportions...everyone was generally excited about a new Batman film.

Well, I meant moreso that I had low expectations based on where the previous movies went and I had done no research on Batman Begins really. Then the extremely positive reviews came out, then I saw it opening night and was blown away. The rest is history.

Glad I never saw this before seeing BB in the theater for the first time.

Haha, I remember watching Smallville just for that clip.

I remember watching Smallville and seeing that clip. I was thoroughly impressed by it. Batman swooping down Arkham surrounded by bats made my day.

Yeah, May 19, 2005 was a good day. A 90-minute, action-packed Smallville season finale (in which Clark creates the Fortress and Brainiac comes to Earth) followed by ten minutes of Batman Begins and ending in the midnight premiere of the last Star Wars movie.

Also, WB released a pretty badass poster promoting the Smallville finale/Batman teaser crossover.

I never saw that ten minute preview...glad I didn't.

Was the young boy playing Bruce Wayne voice dubbed in the final cut because he sounded British when he's talking to Alfred?

Dang I forgot all that happen in one day. Quite a day indeed.

Yeah, I remember that preview. Me and my buddy were talking about Batman's "growl" for the next few days.

The Batman in the poster doesn't look like Christian Bale at all.

Heh, I never really noticed that before. I guess I just glanced at the poster a time or two, that guy, nothing like Bale.

Ahh has it really been 3 years? Man, I remember that night, these boards were going that night.
