Resident Evil 5 PS3 Exclusive?

On the lastest 1Up podcast, Shane says that Capcom will announce RE5 as a PS3 exclusive at the TGS.

I think it's very likely. And if it's true, I'm buying a PS3.

WELL, IT'S NO SECRET CAPCOM WILL ****E OUT THEIR FRANCHISES TO THE HIGHEST BIDDER, AT THE DROP OF A DIME (LITERALLY).......SO THIS WOULD BE NO SURPRISE. THEY'VE NEVER BEEN A MULTI-CONSOLE TYPE OF COMPANY, UNLIKE SAY, 'UBISOFT' OR 'EA'. Doubtful especially with Nintendos up and coming system. Capcom is in the money making business and this would lose them money. It will be on all 3 systems.

I wouldn't place Shane on much a higher level. He's pretty much a dullard as well in regards to Luke. They're both fanboys, and they need to stop releasing false info just because of their preconceptions.

If it were true, it would be the only game that would make me even consider getting a PS3, but it probably wouldn't sway me. I'm taking this with the smallest grain of salt in the world, even though it's most probably not going to happen.

Just to further everyone's doubts about the validity of this, he predicted a long while ago that prior to E3 2006 we would hear a major announcement about World of Warcraft and GTA4 being PS3 exclusive.

Just sayin'...
