I dunno......I'm just disappointed in this series.

The first one was so promising, and I liked it.

But, the second one.....I mean.....what the ****. It's like they just went a compleley different way. It's not even a Horror film anymore....it became this wierd Sci-Fi and Action movie.

The first one was so promising, and I liked it.

I agree I thought that the first one was decent cheese, but the second one sucked even though it had great action scenes. I hope the third is more in the vain of the first one.

I enjoyed RE greatly, I thought it was a slickly made action/horror/sci fi movie. I would have prefered it to be more like the games, but it's much better than some give it credit for.

I liked RE Apocalypse in a trashy kinda way. the script was a total mess, and the direction was crappy, but it had a lot of things I found fun:


full on zombie/military combat in the streets
zombie chaos
Jill Valentine
Oded Feh as carlos (the best thing in the series imo)
Nemesis' first fight with alice where hekicks her ass and his make up
creepy church scenes

IMO the franchise's biggest problem is Milla and her super human powers. Her defeating nemesis in a hand to hand fight totally killed the point of nemesis in the first place, and was rediculous. actually most scenes with her were rediculous.

I hate these movies. They capture none of what's good about the games and make them look like garbage.

And it's sad because the Resident Evil just had one of it's best games ever in 4 released on GC and PS2, and these pieces of crap keep getting made. It makes me sick.

I agree with everything here because I felt the movie RE was a great intro/origin movie for RE-1&2 the games.

I actually didn't mind that because it just reminded me of Wesker from RE1 & RE:CV because he acquired some superhuman skills when Umbrella tested on him.
