If this new movie really does take place in the mid-late 90's like the earlier games than I honestly might loose my **** lol. I know that still doesn't mean anything regarding the quality of it overall, but it's such a nice attention to detail and it definitely tells me that they know what the fans want to see and maybe just maybe they know what they are doing. We'll see soon enough I guess, but I'm starting to get even more hopeful that this will actually turn out being good.

I don’t think they’ve started filming the Netflix show yet.

Because zombies weren’t mainstream popular, so they wanted an action film they could sell instead. In 2002, I think RE might have been the first theatrical zombie film since... the 80s?

Then 28 Days Later came out a few months later, then the Dawn of the Dead remake a few months after that, then of course The Walking Dead a few years after that. Now zombies are more popular than ever!

Never mind just seeing pictures of this stuff, I imagine for any fans of the franchise who live in that location that seeing any of these places, items and iconography in real life, things for years only experienced through the limitations of PlayStation 1 graphics and old analog CRT TV screens, must be really surreal.

I really hope that Lisa Trevor rumor ends up being true, because that would be awesome. I still remember her scenes scaring the crap out of me back when I played that RE remake on the GameCube. If she's in it hopefully that means we see more classic RE creatures like the Hunters which I feel we have been waiting forever for to see in live action. Yawn would be dope too, but costly which makes me wonder what the budget is for this.
