Eddie doesn't even look like Pryor, and casting him would be more of a slap in the face. The only way it would work is if they did the Rick Baker makeup thing.

I really like Marlon Wayans when you get him away from his White Girls-esque roles. He shows dramatic skills in Requiem for a Dream.

My only thing is...didnt Richard Pryor himself pick Mike Epps to star as him. Epps is still out and kicking why didnt they choose him? Probably because Wayans is more bankable nowaday and Epps doesnt do much.
But it kind of seems liek that is a real slap to the face that the guy hand picked someone and then they went for someone else. It doesnt even seem that Epps's schedule is full

Oh well after Chris Rock Pryor is my favorite comedian so this should still be good

Well, I like this casting decision because I love Richard Pryor and hate Mike Epps, so there is a strong possibility I would avoid this movie if Epps was cast.

Reading about the planned Belushi biopic had me wondering what happened to this? Especially now that Bill Condon is schedule to direct both Twilight: Breaking Dawn films back to back? It was scheduled for 2011 but it probably wont come out until '12 or '13

then again, if Eddie does indeed take on the role of Pryor he may actually be funny again
