Very cool. I'm glad this has finally come to fruition. Nice to see that Vaako is back, too. :woot:

i hope that the whole movie will not have the orange tint.

It likely will. Pitch Black was very monochromatic. But I'd assume anything that doesn't take place on that planet will use natural lighting. At least it isn't contrasted with teal.

Loving the pictures so far, its all looking really good and I cant wait to see more, hope Urban is in the movie quite a bit as well, he was awesome as Vaako.

I'm thinking that maybe Riddick does a runner after claiming the throne. Vaako can't truly become Lord Marshall until he kills Riddick.

^Yeah that bit is confusing me as well, i'm sure it will be explained in the movie and I cant wait to find out.

Where's the Riddick love?

Dave Bautista (Formerly of the WWE) and his band of mercs.

^The mercs look awesome, and I have no problem with Bautista being cast, Riddick needs someone who is a physical opponent for him.

Love it. It looks like it could've been a screenshot from Prometheus. Everything I've seen of the film looks like it has more of a hard sci-fi than a fantastical space opera angle.

Thats what I'm excited about. Thats what Riddick should be

As flawed as the second film was, it had some decent art design. More original than the very derivative stuff we have been getting in modern sci-GI films..

I'm getting somewhat of an Aliens vibe.

Batista is in this im suprised some of the movie work hes getting the Rza movie now this.
Im looking forward to this and is Vin Diesels is the marketing team for this lol.

Speaking of wrestling, the biggest surprise was the dude who wrestled as Kruggan in the WWE, who has worked on a bunch of big movies. The most memorable was his role as the giant French henchman in the first Sherlock Holmes, when fought Downey Jr.

Woah, did not know he was a wrestler and honestly cant imagine him to be, he looked too gangly, especially when he was running in the movie.

Honestly i'm not surprised by wrestlers getting to be in movies though, especially action ones were they require a huge guy, wrestlers have some experience with acting as well.

STOKED TO THE MAX.

Oh and CoR had much more going for it than just fantastic art design IMHO. I'm positive new people learn to appreciate how good the film is more and more every single day which in turn will set them right up to looking forwards to for Riddick 3.

There's tons of wrestlers in movies.

Kurgan was also in 300. He lives in this area so I've seen him wrestle here a bunch of times. I remember seeing him sitting at a gas station restaurant, he gets a lot of attention being seven feet tall.

What I meant was Kurgan gets consistent roles in fairly big movies where as John Cena or whomever is stuck doing direct-to-DVD WWE films.

Actually, one of the wrestlers in whom I thought could of have a decent transition was Chris Jericho. When he's allowed to be, he can be very witty and geeky, plus he's good looking for a wrestler nor that big. While his persona now is more..serious, in the past in WWF and WCW, he was quirky as heck.

The Rock has ended up doing many films I really enjoyed including Welcome to the Jungle, Walking Tall and obviously the excellent Fast 5. I'm also looking forward to seeing him in GI Joe 2.

Kurt Angle did a great none speaking turn in Warrior also. I actually didn't even realise it was him at first.

Ironically, what you're saying about Jericho is the opposite of Kurgan. He gets his roles because he's a huge guy. :woot:

Looks like they're going with a mix of animatronics and CG. Thank God.
