I'm sure Karl Urban is great as Judge Dredd, but it's a damn crime to cover such soulful eyes.

^Urban was awesome as Dredd, gave an amazing performance even without his eyes, was an awesome movie as well.

Karl Urban as Vaako

Barely has aged a day since 2004. And thankfully he lost the mullet.

Even though I didn't love the second Riddick, I admire the fact it's the only movie that has the balls to venture into space opera sci-fi besides the recent Star Trek. We need more Space Operas besides Star Wars.

lets not forget that they also had a badass female character. not enough girls that can kill 3 men with 1 arm.

^Not to mention the DC is vastly superior movie to the normal cut, and yes Urban was great in it and its good to see him back. I hope he has a large role though, as early reports suggested he wouldnt be in it for long.

Vaako's returning? Probably as a villain

^Yeah, judging from the synopsis it aint a big role though, the Necromancers dump him on the planet the movie takes place on at the start, so unfortunately dont think Vaako will be in it much.

With a poster release, a trailer must be coming soon. Maybe with The Hobbit? I can remember The Chronicle of Riddick trailer with Return of the King in 2003.

^Cant see it being with The Hobbit with Pacific Rim and MOS being on it, think they would prefer to release it a bit later were it wont be over-shadowed by 2 bigger movies.

My anticipation is growing bigger and bigger!

Really hope we get a trailer soon, we need something more than pictures to keep us going until September.

Can we get a trailer already. BTW I loved pitch black but this is one of the hardest stories to follow. First film he's fighting monsters next thing he's fighting humans again. It's like huh.

BTW I see some are saying TCOR was better than Pitch Black. Riddick was toned down completely in the sequel. I mean he didn't really have much humanity outside of the ending in pitch black and that's what the people want to see. But I think those days are over with

Riddick felt like a rogue cleric/angsty assassin in TCOR. I didn't like it.

Not really. In Pitch Black he was in epic struggles against hammerhead monsters. In this one he was against some old dude talking nonsense

I like both Pitch Black and Chronicles of Riddick. They are different films, but I enjoy both.
