There’s some leaked pics already out. One of the Sith holocron and another of Rey with her new yellow sabre.

Yep. This hasnt changed my opinion that yellow sabers look like ass. And it looks like she made the hilt from her staff. The hilt looks like **** too. It looks like a duel saber hilt for a tiny elf with huge hands.

A picture of Sidious is online. He looks like a corpse that's been dead a week. Compleyely opaque eyes, splotches of black congealed blood in his lips. No skin tone at all. Its disturbingly accurate.

Palpatine looks creepy in that photo. Rey's sabor looks awkward but I think it's because I'm imagining her full length staff. Hopefully it looks better when you see the whole thing.

He's a spirit inhabiting his own corpse. His body is dead and not functioning.

So this must mean that palpatines body is truly dead then, as the leaks suggested

Definitely. Which means he is trying to bring his body back to life. Not just make himself younger.

It also means Sidious has essentially been a ghost since ROTJ. Haunting the lives of the people that killed him.

When his body died he must have refused to move on so his spirit has lingered. It can inhabit the corpse but it cant make the corpse live. He cant start the heart and bodily functions. He wants to bring his corpse back to life. He does that using Rey. After he brings his corpse back to life that's when he unleashes that massive lightning storm.

Looking at him his body is very much dead. The machine might be halting decay, but it's a corpse. It's even got black congealed blood around the mouth which happens to a body when blood flow stops. And the body's eyes are completely milky which is another thing that happens to corpses.

Time for some griping, Episode 8 should have ended with Sidious using Rey to resurrect his body. Then he and his Sith fleet destroys the Resistance and flies off to conquer the galaxy. Kylo should have turned to the light and Episode 9 should have been him and Rey killing Sidious and saving the galaxy.

Saw rey's yellow lightsaber and it's..interesting! I don't hate nor love it but I guess it's kinda cool

Reminds me when I was mixed on Mace Windu's purple sabre in Attack of the Clones but it grew on me in Revenge of the Sith

Leia's lightsaber is very cool. It's own thing, while obviously having some of that Luke/Obi influence.

Rey's lightsaber looks like it is one end of her staff.

I just miss Luke's green saber. I like that they're different colors, but the green ones were beautiful.
