No, most people have come to terms with the fact.
Do you think Tony will have a new armor or the old one from Civil War?
The rest also included the movie being titled Spectacular Spider-Man and Drew Goddard being chosen to direct it. Weightless rumor. Seeing Marvel's flagship kiss-up to Tony in Civil War was enough as is, but seeing Spidey try to impress Stark by fighting him in his own movie would be too much.I thought the original Tony Stark is in Spider-man solo rumour mentioned that him and spider-man fight and that part of the story is about the latter auditioning to join avengers.
So given that the scoop was right about Tony being in the movie; maybe should give some weight to the rest. I believe it was Latino Review that originally gave the scoop.

Maybe the fight will be about whether Peter can continue to be Spider-Man. If he wins, he gets to keep the name. If he loses, he has to change it to Iron Spider.![]()
Why do't we just start naming things that'd break the fandom?![]()
Some men just want to watch the world burn.![]()
they misspelled Stank

The fanboy blood boils! Do you guys think it's a possibility for him to show up without suiting up? I doubt Sony is going to front that bill without actually having Iron Man show up. I know RDJ's presence is still massive, but come on.
Maybe the contract with Audi has expired.
Do we actually know how much RDJ got to be in this movie?
Oh, he's definitely not a cameo. Otherwise Happy wouldn't be in this movie and the Tinkerer wouldn't have been turned into an Iron Man villain. So if you're hoping he has a large role, you're probably in luck, dude.Well, definitelly not for a cameo ... that would a hell alot of a stupid thing to be just a cameo.
Do we actually know how much RDJ got to be in this movie? It would be such a relief to know he's not showing up as Iron Man. (For an action scene)
Hope that's the case, that would PERFECT. But I'm not optimistic considering that guy said Stark is going to be teaching him the meaning of responsibility (That's s huge red flag for me as a Spidey fan) and Tinkerer could possibly be tied to Stark as well. See, I know you and everybody on this board probably think I hate RDJ or Iron Man, but that's not the case at all. I very much enjoy RDJ and Iron Man, but I want this to be SPIDEY'S movie and every rumor that has come out of this movie regarding Stark has sounded like crap.If I were to make an assumption, I'd say about as much screen time as Fury in TWS. Probably suiting up in a scene where Tony is dealing with some Avengers issues overseas that the Accords requires him and the remaining Avengers to deal with, leaving Peter to deal with the Vulture alone in New York
