Robert Pattinson IS The Batman

Saying "Affleck looked borderline fat" doesn't really imply to me that you meant the suit made him look fat but whatever ;)
And the suit itself was not built like that way either.

If you think this suit makes someone look fat, well thats your opinion. I think its the best crafted and comic book accurate batsuit in cinematic history but you can keep on hatin on snyder :whatever:

Afflecks batman looked like a guy who could easily beat up 10 dudes to pulp :ali:

I happily stand by my opinion. It made him look bloated. But if you want to misconstrue that as me hating on the suit itself. that's your prerogative.
I love the suit (apart from the ears), but that pic and that clip there illustrate exactly what I said in my post earlier; on a manikin it looks great, but when Affleck (who was in great shape) wore it it did look bloated. Weird.

No need to get so defensive.

No no i'm just telling facts and i respect everyone's opinion :gngl:

For me, i dont care how he looked in the suit bts i only care how he looked on film and imo especially in bvs he looked great in his batsuit scenes (the nolan suit probably looked twice as bad in bts pictures imo)

Lets just hope pattinson gets a suit which looks approximately as good on him :D

They changed it late in development. The mannequin and concept art have the slimmer look, but when it came to constructing the actual suit for Ben to wear, they molded it from a bodybuilder which a much stockier build.

Ben was never bloated at any point during filming, and even if he was he wouldn't have been able to bulge a sculpted suit. Those things are made to stick to their crafted shape.

I'm like the last person defending Synder's DCEU, but it made sense for him being bloated considering he's an older Batman.

The mannequin they had on display at SDCC in 2015 had the ideal physique

I noticed that Affleck's real life physique was a bit closer to this as well. They padded the suit out too much, Snyder was obsessed with replicating the TDKR bar fighting brawler physique.

That being said, I'd be happy if Pattinson much slimmer build looked like this

Less Frank Miller and more Neal Adams

Bvs suit is the BEST batman suit on screen. Only burtons batman come somewhat close.

But i agree to slim it down for the next movie. Since he is younger than he should be quicker and more ninja like. Bvs made sense for him to be a tank as he is older and slower but more powerful.

They gotta tone it down with the fake shoulders
between that and the Shazam outfit, I don't think the costume designers have ever seen human shoulders before lol

Yeah, lol. The only way you would look that way is if you were regularly doing a workout that developed your shoulders about 100 times more than the rest of your arms.

hey man, if you love it, that's fine, but i stand by what I said. He looked bloated to me, and Im sure other people. Besides, it's gonna take more than a grey suit to get me to love a version of Batman. And yes, I was talking about the suit, but you can keep thinking what you want, bud. Even if I wasn't, who cares hahaha?

Afflecks Batman looking like he could beat 10 dudes to a bloody pulp means nothing to me if the adaption of the character is a dumb, murdering kind that doesn't act like the character should at all. Its also why we are getting a new actor and adaption 3 years later. Anyway, I don't want to get into another Snyder debate so Im not going any further with that.

Yeah the giant shoulders look ridiculous.
Especially when they lift their arms.
It doesn’t look natural at all.

I’m sick of the muscle suits all together really.

I respect your opinion but he acted liked that in comics and in movies before so i dont see the problem. Batman is no boyscout.
We dont need a debate cause you wont change your standpoint about snyders batman anyway (you dont need to and i dont care either) i just don't like when people spread wrong statements.

Really hope we get a Batman that’s not a killer in this.
I don’t want to see him struggling with it either.
I want a Batman that’s taken a firm stance against killing that he won’t budge on and that’s it.

I completely agree. No batman in the big screen has done this. Nolans batman has killed the most on screen but claims he doesnt kill (hypocrite), burton was a madman and killed at will, snyder was a broken older version of batman that killed at will.

Give me a batman that refuses to kill and make sure there are no possible deaths either.

I need to watch Nolan's trilogy again because that doesn't sound right.

I know I'm in the minority here, but I like the way that killing Zod was handled in MoS. I want Batman to do everything he can to avoid killing, but if it's a choice between sparing a criminal or saving an innocent, then a hard choice must be made. Not saying he should brazenly kill ala BvS, but never having to be faced with the choice is just plot armor.
