Anyone else annoyed by that kid spamming the whole internet, ****ing himself for Robin more than Tyrese Gibson for GL ?

Why would anyone be mad over his enthusiasm? I'm on board.

So i saw the thread's title: Robin or no Robin?
Just going to say this, they've already set up that Jason is dead (because c'mon, it is Jason), while a lot might think that is setting up the Red Hood storyline (and, yeah, it is), it's also setting up another storyline: Tim Drake becoming the 3rd Robin.
So what do i think? Well, Batman needs a Robin, as much as everyone likes the brooding loner, i think it might be time for the dark to be balanced by a bit of light, Batman to be balanced by a new Robin.

No. A guy made a couple of tweets about a role he's interested in and people who liked the idea picked it up and ran with it. That's how the internet works.I don't see why there'd be anything to get annoyed about.

Generating interest in this franchise on social media is exactly the sort of thing WB's marketing department salivates over.

I wonder if we could be getting a Son of Batman inspired movie that introduces Damian

I like his enthusiasm, if he can act i say bring him on. We need a bat family.

Raises hand, I appreciate his enthusiasm but he just seems desperate. How WB interprets all this I dont know, but based on past experiences it cant be good for Potter. I dont think they're interested in Drake in the first place, they never pushed him as Robin in the era he was the actual Robin. Usually Grayson makes it to these things and currently they're seriously backing Damian. Jason ofcourse has a very good chance as Red Hood or Robin via flashbacks. But ultimately it all comes down to what these characters do for Batman in a film. An accurate Tim doesn't do much, it's not like the comics where there had to be a Robin which essentially became Tim's reason for existing and it's probably why the character has struggled since Damian was introduced. They're already using Superman and the League to push Batman towards the light side taking away Tim's primary value in a Bat story. I could see a hybrid Robin but even that guy is likely to be called Dick Grayson.

To clarify I dont mind posting a video and showing off your talents but he's really using the race card and fanboy power to get himself this role which doesn't even exist. Might as well say, "cast me or you're racist and want to feel the wrath of my fans"

Having figured out Batman's identity, Tim Drake decides to intervene as Batman becomes more violent and unhinged after Jason's death. BvS provids the perfect context for Tim.

Race card :whatever: he's saying his race shouldn't exclude him from a chance to play the part.

If he is confident then he should not mention it. Also what if they decide not to go with him ? How do you think his fans will respond in that scenario. Besides he has outright said that his presence will bring more diversity which is not untrue but that counts as using the race card.
His twitter literally has a "diversity and representation, now, not later" tweet. In any event they will probably use him as a stunt guy at best.

We all wish we could forget Chris O'Donnell, but his giant codpiece won't let us.

Yeah whatever Chris ODonnell was a great Robin. He wasn't the problem. I still think Batman Forever should've cast a younger Robin for that dynamic to work better with Bruce. But O Donnell was fine the writing was the issue

Holy rusted metal, Batman. The ground its full of holes. You know holey.

I'd, personally, be disappointed if Robin wasn't in it.
At this stage in his career, it would make sense for Tim Drake to be with Batman.
I hope we see him in the upcoming film.

I'm hoping that Robin is a lock. Especially in a Deathstroke centric story. Deathstroke is Dick's nemesis after all.

I'd be down for him as Tim. I wouldn't be surprised if they use Damian instead, though. There's only really room for one post-Jason Robin, and Damian adds more to the mythos. (Personally, though, I'd prefer Tim)

Ah, that just got me thinking about them pulling a New52 DTV and not having Tim exist. :csad:
