I used to be strongly anti-Robin.

Of course, I also used to be a *****e.

Connection? I think so.

Heya Cap. Good to see some decisive postage from on high.

Not very straight connections I suspect.

Is that a gay crack?

Heh, gay crack. :(

Seriously though, in this day and age Robin is no worse than any other superhero out there. While he may be a bit too fantasy for this uber-realistic image of Batman we all *********e profusely over, that doesn't diminish his quality in the slightest. If you really think Robin's a poor character, you haven't been reading comics, and if you haven't been reading comics, you don't deserve to type.

If reading comics is all you do, you don't deserve to talk about cinematography and the way characters are developed in movies.

I didn't say anything about reading comics ALL the time, nor did I say anything about cinematography or how/if/should Robin be developed in a feature film.

Be thankful today was the day I chose to wear my arguin' boots. ;)

If they were going to use Robin i think they should have him be like the Robin from the Teen Titans series. Because he was a bit like Batman, a bit mooody and a bit obbsessed.

Damn. I missed a CConn appearance. And it was a good one, too. With more than one post.

We already have a Batman.

No. I did. It was about time.

^ Even so, there you refered to the cinematographic uber-realistic Batman and the Robin character in that realistic Batman from Nolan. So... yes you did.

And technically, I agreed with you that he wouldn't quite fit. So what are you prattling on about?

If that Robin was to be in the Begins Gotham, he'd probably be beaten and raped on his first night to..death.

Besides, nobody wants Robin in the movie with his anal adventures.

About the way you said you weren't talking about it when you were. But you already know this.

Jesus christ, mate you're moaning that Robin is not dark enough. I give you a good argument there. And you come back with something gay like "We already have a batman". You're just like a woman nothing is ever good enough!!

So in other words, you're admitting that Robin wasn't campy and fruity last time?
i recall last time he wasn't a little kid. they were always grown men. way to read, champ.

Oh you're right. I made an error, and I apologize immensely for it. Now, do you have anything pertinent to discuss, or are we through?

lol

I've missed you all so. I know, I know, I should've sent a postcard. But those things cost at least 35, 40 cents.

Stop replying in that tone with lies and we'll see.

Oh, intelectual jokes... gimme a couple of days...

It seems like the two fans never get along but, I think Nolan should copy the Punisher comics on this. Batman should be a loner that doesn't want anybody might as less a kid prancing around with him. Remember when Frank got microchip? It made the series so lame, they're better off lone characters.

I've never read any of the famous Batman-Robin comics - so my only impression of the Robin character is a rebellious teenager who says "Gee, Golly" a lot and gives Batman an excuse to say "Go to bed, eat your greens, don't skip school, don't do drugs, brush your teeth, and wear a seatbelt."
