even though there are no plans for robin now (which i have no problem with) i think he can be a part of these movies (Nolan or other) somewhere down the line. it just has to be dealt with carefully.

Bruce WOULD be the kind of guy that would "buy" Grayson's salvation. He would be the kind of man that would rationalize bribing a crooked Judge into ruling in his favor if it meant saving this kid from spending his life in foster care, having all the anger that Bruce knows about and could help him with.

That's like saying he would kill a villiain in order to save Gotham of him forever.

Batman doesn't kill in comics and Begins because he doesn't want to be the same as his enemies. That way he doesn't fight killers by killing them.

The same way I seriously doubt he would use corruption to fight corruption.

Eh your judge of character on what Bruce "would/could" do makes him look like some curropt high class a-hole. Like El_Payaso said...he wouldn't use corruption to fight corruption...wow for once I agreed with El_Payaso on something in a Robin thread.

Still don't see Bale's Bruce wanting a kid hanging round.Unless he was somehow responsible for the death.Kinda like FOREVER but more full on.

Here's an idea... what if Dick doens't come live with Bruce right away? Bruce meets the kid and everything, but he's taken in by social services and left in an orphanage to rot. Later on, however, Batman encounters Robin trying to be a vigilante like him, and eventually decides to train him. Just a thought.
