So I was thinking that if they did do another OT outing would the use Olivia Williams again?! She is would be 50 in real life and if aged up a little bit could be believably an older version of Rose Byrne.... Or would they recast as she wasn't that prominent?!

I like Olivia Williams but I never understood why they cast an actress who was thirty years younger than Patrick Stewart, when Moira and Charles are supposed to be contemporaries.

Rose Byrne is so perfect in this role. Aside from being gorgeous and insanely talented, she's the same age as McAvoy and they look (and act) great together.

I don't think we will see Moira in the OT's period again or the future period but who knows.

Hmm... The only human character cast in a film about a godlike mutant's crusade for the "survival of the fittest" that leaves only a few of the most powerful mutants alive in the world... I doubt it, too.

But most 50 celebrities look like they do, they totally get a way with it! They got lots more films in them lol

Plus i always like to think mutants naturally age slower than mere humans, they are the master race after all lol

I just dont think Moira is someone important that they should also bring into the new future. We are getting her again in Apocalypse which is fine but if they go back to the future Id rather see the future version of Jubilation, Kurt and Betsy.

Also Moira is not a mutant.

I like that she's brought back after not being in DOFP. It acknowledges the bigger picture and the things that worked in the other movies, like bringing back Page and Grammar after 8 years.

Byrne had good chemistry with McAvoy and my guess is it's very plausible she'll be some kind of scientist in Apocalypse, instead of an agent.

I think Moira should join the X-Men. In like a Maria Hill/Coulson type role. Where's not a mutant but still part of the team. They need a Doctor and hopefully she can fill that role now.

Plus Charles & Moira sitting in a tree....

There's been ten years since DoFP happened might as well show Moira living happily in Westchester helping run the school. And Kevin already be born with his powers not manifested yet.

^ Now that makes sense in some ways, though I have a feeling that that is not how they will go.

I have a sense that they will have Moira living off on her own at the start of the movie. Possibly even in Scotland or England. She will be caring for her young child, who will end up manifesting some sort of mutant power (though it is possible that the child already has powers, and that the child is being kept in some sort of stasis - which is somewhat per canon). She will then seek out Charles' help with her son, which will bring them back together and enable them to rekindle their "relationship".

I know, some of this doesn't make sense with the way First Class left Moira, but again... reasons.

Actually, what might just end up happening is that her mutant son (say a teenager) will end up going off and joining Apocalypse (of he is taken), which causes her to contact Charles. In other words, Kevin (or David) will end up being a Horseman, which will cause Moira to contact Charles, which will bring them together.

And just wait until Charles scans Moira's mind and finds out that David is his son!

I know, there's no evidence of this, except a small scene at the end of First Class and a deleted scene (which likely led to intimacy), but again... reasons!

Well I'll live with it regardless I just think there should be some adult women in the mansion.

My crazy theory which I know won't happen is Professor X and Beast recruit Havok Darwin Psylocke Dr. Moira Dr. Reyes as the X-Men and new teachers and doctors at the beginning of Apocalypse.

And the mansion is a complete 180 from DoFP fully staffed and a young forge builds a war room danger room black bird etc etc.

Then everything goes to hell after that with X-Men, Gambit, New Mutants (Cyclops Storm etc etc)

Then after Apocalypse the new X-Men team is Cyclops/Storm/Marvel Girl/Darwin/Nightcrawler/Forge/Jubilee/Beast

Gambit leaves as an X-Man but has business to handle in LA in his spin-off. And Psylocke goes with him.

Apparently if you read the comics you can find darwin surviving alot worse by turning into things like energy you can't even see

At any rate he was hardly even an important character in the film. I couldn't care less if he stayed dead. I want the big more of the big four (Jean, Scott, Ororo and Hank) not the side characters I'm not invested in at all.

No that is the problem with most of the bad X-Films to many characters with no development. It's not a step in the right direction just to add characters for the sake of faces.
