I'd prefer it stay that way for a little while longer. A mention of Ross would be nice, but I'd still like if they kept off the "Hulk being hunted" angle for a little bit.

I'd like to know what Betty has been up to, and Sterns as well. I don't count the comic book as official continuity, so FBW isn't an answer I will accept. :o

And let's not forget Blonsky / Abomination. :cwink: Let's get him worked in there somewhere in one of these crossovers.

It'd be awesome.

Even if it's just a scene with Blonsky in a cell talking to Banner or one of the other Avengers, with a nod to the "Consultant" one-shot with a line like, "They almost put me in The Avengers, you know..."

That's the kind of cameo I think would work.

Haha I think that could work.

Yesss :D :woot:

They're up to something, and not everyone who likes the MCU has seen the one-shots, so I'm sure there's questions.

Pretty sure Tim Roth could brought in pretty easily to read a view lines

I really hope they don't cop out in the movie and have Hulk lose to Hulkbuster just because he's Iron Man, Hulk needs to turn him into scrap metal.

In the trailer it actually looks like Tony might win the battle. We'll see

I think audiences always want to see Hulk win the fight, even when he's fighting a friend. Usually because the other guy comes off as the more arrogant one.

That's what I'm hoping for and not that Iron Man's popularity wins him the fight.

The movie is already very Tony centric, but would Marvel go as far as to let Hulk be defeated by the Hulkbuster?

Well seeing that this HB battle is earlier in the movie, it might be a draw. Like: Science Bro, Im sorry. No Science Bro IM sorry. *hugs*

I could see them making us believe Hulk's been beat, but Hulk's sorta got an unlimited endurance thing going on, whereas there's only so much damage an Iron Man suit can take before it becomes useless. Hence the normal suit underneath, because Tony knows he'll need a Plan B (fly the hell away) in case the Buster takes too much damage.

The longer the fight goes on, the more it's going to go in Hulk's favor.

As for how the fight ends, I'm thinking it'll end with Natasha calming Hulk down after Hulk demolishes the Buster suit. There's your draw. No one was really beaten. Tony lives to see another day and Hulk comes down from his rampage.

I really think hulk should win the fight just to show how powerful/dangerous he could be. Especially if he wasn't a good guy.

I dislike this scenario ending the Hulkbuster fight. Only Betty should be able to calm down a Hulk that angry, and to let another character do this would diminish her role in the Hulk story IMO.

I do like the idea of a draw though. Maybe Hawkeye could use specially adapted arrows to tranquilise the Hulk? This could be part of Starks contingency plans?

Has Hawkeye ever been able to do anything to Hulk outside of using an Adamantium tipped arrow? (given the MCU can't use adamantium).

I mean, unless he shoots Hulk directly in the eyes or something, but I think the pain from that would counteract even the strongest tranquilizer and just make Hulk rampage even harder.

He could easily be recast . And probably will be if they bother with Abomination at all.

Why would they all of a sudden recast him when they were just considering putting him in AoU? Whenever they do use Abomination (which apparently could be sooner than later) they clearly plan on bringing Tim back.

And yeah, Hulk needs to win the fight against Iron Man. I'm not against Hulk losing a fight, this just isn't one he should lose. It should be a nice back and forth for a bit but ultimately Hulk should....well, smash.

Marvel was adamant on that no Avenger should beat another in the first movie so that might still be going on.

Of course IM has a character shield that would make James Bond and Jax Tellar envious.

Agreed.
