Rumors/Spoilers *WARNING SOME SPOILERS ARE CONFIRMED*

with an actual history for the character, I highly doubt he is Lex, might have some connection to him, thats still possible. But with what we know and that being that Lex has his own company and there for must have a face to go with it, Col.Hardy will not be Lex himself.

What if like others have said Lex is a recluse and nobody has seen Lex in years and Mercy is the face of LexCorp

It can't be him, though. Only bald actors are considered for Lex.

Kevin Spacey

so much for superman never killing anyone ;)

Don't get it twisted. Superman has killed in the past although that is not his policy.

you do know that Green Kryptonite first weakens, then kills right, I'm not saying your wrong, but your using the wrong the picture to prove your point since they didnt die here, he weakened them and sent them back to the phantom zone. Superman has killed before though, he tends to leave it down to his absolute last option

Yes, but someone will have seen him in the past and they'd probably be able to tell if Col. Hardy was Lex lol

ehh...just grasping at straws. I really hoped that Meloni would be Lex. I'm a huge fan of Meloni's

It is a strong no-killing policy so for all intents and purposes he was right. If it was just a "I don't like killing but will if I have to" policy, Superman would not have permanently depowered himself in Whatever Happened to the Man of Tomorrow" as punishment for killing Mxy with the Phantom Zone Projector.

Superman vol 2, Issue #22

Yes, I know that. In the issue above, Superman actually killed three Phantom Zone criminals from an alternate pocket universe. Their sentence was execution by fatal exposure to green krytonite (read Superman vol 2, Issue 22).

Superman Executing General Zod, Quex-Ul, and Faora

This was in punishment for their crimes of genocide on a global scale. It was a tough decision for Superman, but he made it for that reason and to keep a promise made to the Lex Luthor of that pocket universe.

Pocket dimensions dont count :funny: and why...........BECAUSE THEY ARE FAKE TO THE COMICS!!! :p

No kryptonite in MOS.How would superman kill them anyways?brute strength?Nah!It would be a joke if superman killed like 5 kryptonians with just brute strength.

Well, yeah, they count... when its a character from the continuity that travels to that pocket universe and does the deed and then comes back. In the character's mind and the minds of the reader, he killed. Are you trying to say that Matrix Supergirl doesn't count? That's where she came from.

Its a joke man, laugh....*grabs dnno1* LAUGH!!!! :funny:

Stop talking wet.

Christopher Meloni is JUST PLAYING A COLONEL IN THE ARMY AND NOTHING MORE. Wish people would stand FANticising up characters in a conspiracy where 90% of the cast are secretly revealed as a DC Comics character in a sequel. GIVE IT UP ****ING HELL JESUS!

Reminds me of when people were dismissing Joe Gordon-Levitt as Robin.

The same conviction.

And also, who's to say they won't just change the origin of Lex. I mean we've seen what happened to the Mandarin.

"You should use your real name Mr. Hardy, Lex Luthor" :P

Hmmm...not to be a drag or anything, and while it's always pleasant to see Marion Cotillard, but how does that have anything to relate to MOS?

I think Crusader is trying to make a point, a similar thing for Batman says that she was "just a business woman" where as she was actually Tali Al Ghul. Meloni's one says he's a solider.

The difference though is, a buisness woman can pop up out of the blue no problem, happens everyday, a war hero on the other hand is much harder to just conjurer up since it would actually grab people's attention, whenever you hear about a someone doing an amazing thing to get the term "hero" dont you notice it in the newspaper? You wont notice a simple business woman unless she does something worth noticing....like creating a new iPhone or something, which Talia didnt do in the movie, she was a fairly unknown investor ;)

Yeah, that's why I think that if he's secretly someone else, it would have to be someone like Brainiac who could possess another person. So in a sense, he is still Col. Hardy, war hero, but could be acting under the influence of Brainiac.

That's probably not the case, but just food for thought. Perhaps Meloni's character will be the Phil Coulson of the DCU and be used to bring together the various heroes. That could be cool too.

......I KNEW IT!!! :funny: (click on my sig in the proper place for a surprise lol)

It's very weird seeing him kill. I've been reading some of the recent Injustice comics recently and seeing Supes ....

kill the joker violently after he tricks Superman into causing the death of Lois and their unborn child
........... is pretty strong.

I thought that too but it's been stated that Injustice gods among us is set on earth 3.
