i wish cooper was chosen for lantern for the sole reason i think reynolds is the perfect flash.

since what's done is done, i'm excited for the film and think reynolds will do well. a flash movie with reynolds would have been ideal though.

i think it's okay to maybe say stuff like that when the casting was first announce but it's stupid months later.

Plus, fanboys for some odd reason has a weird thing for Bradley Cooper that friggin' amazes me. It's nothing wrong with him, but I just don't get it. I get the usual fanboy casting choices: Thomas Jane, Nathan Fillion, and david boreanaz but not Bradley Cooper.

I think it's fair to say the Cooper thing came from fans wanting someone 'new' or 'left field' as it were instead of some established name carrying the franchise, some of the 'backlash' (if you'd call it that) to Ryan Reynolds was simply that it was Ryan Reynolds, blame Chris Nolan if you want for planting the idea in fans heads to look outside the box in their casting desires. In fairness to Cooper though, it's not like he's some half baked actor who just happens to look like the character.

yea i had nothing against cooper he probably could have done well with the role. But i am glad we got ryan. I and i know tons of gl fans would have been royally pissed off if the studio gave it to timberlake.
