Sam Mendes WWI drama ‘1917’

Anyone have a 1080p download link for the trailer?
 
I was thinking this movie pulled a Dunkirk and cast Shawn Mendes in a major role. :o
 
Honestly, this looks more up my alley than Dunkirk. Apples and oranges, but this movie looks to have a beating heart to it, which is just a preference. It looks great. We haven't gotten a grand scale WWI film yet.

They’re clearly going for “Dunkirk: WW1 Edition” but what made that previous film so great, in my opinion, was the bare-bones approach to it all and how it even verged on abstract at times.

It’s daring and it signaled an exciting development in its respective director’s career and style (I can’t wait to see how it applies to Tenet.)

And while Deakins goes a long way, this lacks that sense of daring for me.
 
I'm not sure that I've ever been interested in a WWI movie before (unless you count Wonder Woman) but this trailer looks fantastic.
 
That frame into text is pure porn... I can never get sick of it.
 
I look forward to seeing this. Love a good war film, and right now these trailers have me completely sold on this.
 
Not sure I'm bothered about seeing the movie but it's certainly visually stunning.
 
They showed some behind the scenes material for this movie before Doctor Sleep on Imax. Holy crap I had no idea Mendes and Deakins are doing single tracking shots for the whole film. It was really cool seeing that sneak peak and watching the camerman go from running on the ground right into the back of a vehicle and then off again. Also shows and explains how if clouds go over the sun they have to sit and wait until the right moment to quickly jump start the scene when the sky is in line with what they want for the scene.

Not only is Deakins making another film look amazing but these tracking shots are going to be great.

Yea, they showed at my theater before Doctor Sleep too (not I-Max). It was actually pretty interesting and piqued my intrigue.

I also hadn't realized one of the boys is Tommen from Game of Thrones, lol.
 
I cant believe they didnt release this Thanksgiving weekend. It's going to get buried by star wars's hype and press onslaught.
 
They didn’t expect it to be ready in time. Mendes had just finished before it screened.
