I was kind of hoping Gwen would die that classic Comic Book death. I would probably tear up if they did it well enough.

It's been obvious for quite some time that both would survive. Raimi has been letting slips out about Howard returning to possibly reprise the role in a future film, and about the only people who were saying that MJ would die were the fans still mad about Dunst having the role.

It's still a current article, though, so I won't add to the "omg cloze" comments that will undoubtedly continue to come.

i agree with you about the only people that want mj to die are the ones that don't like kirsten dunst. i like kirsten dunst and i don't think mj should die.
