If Yelena does indeed become the new Black Widow going forward in the MCU, it would be neat if Fury tried to recruit her by the end of the movie.

So according to the post cred of FFH Fury in the current day MCU is involved in something spaced based. The fan consensus right now leans heavily into Fury being aboard a newly built PEAK for a newly created S.W.O.R.D.

The post cred also revealed that Talos the Tamer and his wife TODAY are working for Fury in some capacity.

Does any of this portend either a Secret Invasion gloss as the next big mega arc? Even if not it certainly seems in line with a more cosmic approach to things in the foreseeable future. So... How would Black Widow as a stand alone prequel fit into all this? If Fury does show up I think it will be in a capacity of pushing this aspect, while the meat of the film is indeed a gritty and grounded (For The MCU mind you) Spy/Action Thriller.
