Hi,
Next year, I intend to attend San Diego's Comic-Con, as
a)it has been on my list of events to attend for years
b) it is going to be a historic year, with Marvel and DC's top productions being unveiled.
Now, I have several questions regarding going there. I've researched as much as I can, but am still coming up short on several. I'd love any input from those who have attended and/or those who will be attending. I've been putting money back since July for it, and want to attend more than anything.
1. I registered on the website for the badge sale, but found out I cannot participate in the pre-badge sale.
a. When does the badge sale commence? Does it open during the morning, afternoon, or evening? I work the night shift and substitute during the day, so, I am trying to plot out how and when to jump on the tickets.
b. How does the sale work? It is like a first come first-serve deal, with a finite amount of tickets?
c. Roughly speaking, what are the prices for badges/tickets? I want to attend the DC Studios presentation/panel, the Person of Interest one, and/or one of the tv ones (Gotham, Agent Carter, and/or Supernatural.)
2. I researched and found the San Diego Marriott [Marina] seems to be the best one, in terms of distance from the event and quality. Is this true? I am tentatively going with a friend, but, in the event they bail on me, will go without them, so, I wanted to find a safe/close/clean place [I'd probably take the taxi, as I want to try to avoid crime, as I am not intimidating, as I'm a over weight Jimmy Stewart.]
3. Are there any other aspects to consider?
