Sandman van robbery question

First of all, get a life.

Second, there are many other threads you could have posted this in. This did not need a new thread.

Wow, harsh, wouldn't be surprised if that little comment gets reported to the mods, I know I would.
Dude, just because someone has a question where the answer hasn't occured to them, there is no need to be such a du0ch3.
Comments like yours, and the attitudes that generate them are the reason "comic book guy" on the Simpsons exists. He may be hyperbolic parody, but man, people like you remind me of him.
Chill out, his comment didn't take up any of your oxygen, and the only "waste", if there was one, was the time you spent belittling someone instead of being the hero and answering the question.
The fact that you have the time, energy, and tendency to behave is such a way shows me who needs to "get a life."

There are some people in here that are bashing on this guy because he wants to know who is driving the van but another thread about why Eddie Brock isn't suddenly wearing his sweater is more valid? WTF!?!?!?!?!?!

Yep, I'm the same guy.

I thought so

And thanks for the positivity.
No problem.

Yes, I actually am. I thought there's a scene in the leaked trailer where Spider-Man is surfing on a car's door while holding his webs that are tied to the van, in which Sandman stand in the back. It doesn't like like the car is going straight, because it looks like it just drove aorund a corner.

yeah, your right, that happened in the leaked trailer.

Here's the deal so as to end the silliness.

Sandman steals the truck. He's driving it during the scenes when its being driven. It crashes and that's when Sandman and Spidey fight.

A certain source had once stated that Mrs. Marko would be driving the getaway vehicle.

I don't think Mrs Marko is a criminal like Sandman. And arn't they divorced or something?

there probbly nobody driving the truck. probably the pile of sand pushing down on the pedal. notice how in the trailer and set photos/set videos the armored truck is crashing into other cars but continues to drive straight?

Ok, I thought about it. Could it be that he cabin is flooded with sand while the driver is still in it. However, Sandman only floods it 'till the driver's upper body, forcing him to keep on driving but being able to steer. So this becomes a getaway van too. That would make sense somehow.

I completely feel the same. Thanks for standing up for me.
However, I'm not going to report it to mods (perhaps they saw it themselves, perhaps not). I'm not here to make enemies, even if some people bash me for no reason. If it gets out of control, I might consider it. But right now, I will just keep it on that some people just had a bad day. They should only think about the the fact that forums are here so people can talk about the same passion/hobby/interest. We share a common interest that gathers us in places like this one.

Hmm, that could work. Nice idea.

not a bad idea, it would force the driver to keep driving straight.

So it is sand then...I had thought that somewhere it said Sandman and his wife would pull a heist Bonnie & Clyde style, though. Anyone else heard of that?

Here's what goes down- Sandman fills the cab with his sandform to force the guards out. Then he re-forms and steals the truck. Spidey gives chase and there's all sorts of roadway mayhem. The truck crashes, Sandman tries to gather the loot- Spidey boards and they fight.

but the fight involves Spidey being punched out of the moving truck by Sandman, as seen in the trailer.

Sandman and Spider-Man even fight on top of the truck of what I believe. In the leaker trailer, you can see Sandman swinging his sandhammer-hand against Spider-Man, and they are on some driving vehicle, which I believe is to be the armored van.

I'm pretty sure I remember a pic of the driver covered up to his chest in sand. I don't know if he manages to get out after that or not. Smothering is sand would be pushing a pg-13 rating, but I thought the Doc Ock operating room scene in SMII really pushed PG-13, so it could happen.

I just hate that "I am superior to you" attitude. It drives me nuts. I swear, when I read stuff like that, all I can think of is "Comic Book Guy" from the Simpsons. People just don't realize how much of a fool they look like when they do stuff like that. I'd love to see guys who act that way in these threads come to work with me and act like that. Talk like that without the skills to back it up in my line of work, and you become a statistic. It's easy to throw your weight around in a forum, but try doing that to the drunk 300 lb. defensive lineman that you're going to take to jail.

yeah, the only thing is that how is the truck continuing to drive at full speed with nobody driving? the only explination for that is the wieght of the sand pressing down on the gas pedal but other than that everything you said was right.

Wouldn't the sand be pressing on the brake as well?

I never thought of that but hey it's still possible. maybe what HopeOfTheFuture said will happen, sandman will flood the front of the armored car forcing the driver to drive straight.

While the wife driving mis a possibility, i don't recall anything about theresa Russel being on the set of the chase in Cleveland or there being a female stunt double.

It's possible that Sandman uses part of his sandform to keep the gas pedal down. This also might be the point when the armored car goes out of control and starts hitting other cars.

Well said, not_a_victim. I've said it before. People on the net think they can be impressive and intimidating just by "talking tough" (or their definition of it). Why they think that when it's so obvious that nobody's going to take them seriously in a forum is beyond me. And like you said, they end up being funny.

HopeOfTheFuture, welcome to the Hype. I hope the climate around here hasn't put you off. It's really a pleasant enough place most of the time and an intelligent forum (relatively). And since you're both a Terminator and Spidey fan, I can say only one more thing: good taste.

It just doesn't make any sense to have a human being driving the armored van, conidering it's full of sand, people would suffocate. I'm with Dragon and SH12 (initially), Sandman's sand is driving the van...somehow I don't think Sammy thought about the brake pedal during writing/shooting ;)
