did anyone watch the credits and if so what is Murphy credited as, I mean is he still known as Dr Jonathon Crane or is he now listed as Scarecrow?

I'm wondering if he was in the scene where all of the criminals were being tried in court at once.

Well IMDb has him listed as Dr. Jonathan Crane / Scarecrow, but come on does it really matter? :oldrazz:

I was happy to see Scarecrow again. I didnt think he was wasted at all, imo he was only there to get caught by Batman to close what Begins left off.

I checked the credits. They're listed as Harvey Dent, and Scarecrow. that's it.

I'm just pleased that we get to see Dr. Crane's face for a minute. I would really love to hope that he shows up for the next installment, since he's my favorite character after the Joker. I wonder if it's possible that he could be some sort of thread that weaves all three (hoping there's a third film) movies together--I mean since it seems as though sanity (or the lack thereof) and fear appear to be very germane to the thesis of these films, it would make sense that the idea, at least, of the Scarecrow and what he represents should be an underlying theme to all three films. I hope that makes sense.....

...the scene before batman left..and crane is sitting there..his hair/face actually looks more "comic crane" to me...anyone else?

Oh and does anyone know if you can take the Scarecrow's mask off his head on the dolls? Just wondering......

I remember some of his lines
When the fake Batmen appear "That's not him"
When the real Batman appears "That more like him/ it"

I thought it was great to see him again. As said before, would of loved to see him still in a straight jacket, but oh well. Cillian Murphy truly owns this role.

^ "it". I agree, even though he did f*** all, it was great to see him.

Wish he was in it longer, I imagined a scene between The Joker and Scarecrow straight from the comics where Scarecrow tries to the fear gas on Joker, it doesn't work. Heath Ledgers reaction would have been really funny and he would have beat Crane into a pulp.

yeah....y does that matter? He's in it!

doesnt matter no major deal i was just merely curious since in th elast film he was basically jonathan crane and only took on the scarecrow persona fully toward the end so i was just wondering if he was now officially acknowledged as scarecrow as opposed to Dr crane in a mask. Plus i just find it cool seeing cillians name next to "scarecrow". Its just (for lack of a better or less cheesy word) more iconic. Its hard to explain, its no major deal at all its just somehing i was curious about.

Am I the only one who thought Cillian really didnt act too much like Crane in TDK? I realize he was only in it for a few minutes, but he seeme dlike he was just kinda there, not acting too hard, and then he loses.

I was extremely happy to see The Scarecrow in the film, though I do wish they had used him more.

However, that scene where Scarecrow comes out of the van and says

"I told you that my drugs would take you on a TRIP.....I NEVER said WHERE..." was fantastic. And funny.

Scarecrow seems like he has come down since we saw him on the horse at the end of Begins, but he is definately off of his rocker. I like how he maintains his geeky fascination with Batman (that he first showed in Begins). He definately doesn't seem to mind being captured by Batman....seems like he knows it wont be long before he is out again. I love the "Not MY diagnosis line". Murphy really brings back the snotty Crane with that one.

On a visual note, I like Scarecrows rumpled suit and mask...and as wierd as this sounds, when they took the mask off, I really liked Cillians hair do....it sorta looks like mine, hah hah.

I do wish they used Scarecrow more, but his scene was effective and I am sure he will be back for the third one.

Two things...

There was a set report a while back that Crane was in the courtroom scene with Maroni and all of the other crooks.....I didn't see him though.

Also....and one other person has mentioned this.

I am positive that there is a shot of Crane on the Arkham ferry at the end. its a quick shot of his disguised as a cop....

Now...you are thinking I am crazy...

But I saw the film twice in a row last night...

and this one close up of the "cop" on the Arkham ferry not only bears a striking resemblance to Cillian Murphy, he also has the same slightly shivering lower lip tremble that Crane exhibits when he gets intimidated in Begins...and he has some slight scarring around his left eye...where Rachel shocked him in Begins.

Now...I could be wrong...but Ive seen the film twice and the "cop" sure as hell looks like Murphy.

Are there two different cuts of TDK? A lot of pre-screenings said that we get to see the scarecrow under fear toxin again after one of the fake batmen get doused. All I seen was him getting doused and no hallucinations.

Well, from the varying lines from the trailers and what appeared in the movies, there's probably like 40 cuts of TDK. I didn't hear about any deleted scenes in BB though, and that could carry through to TDK.

I loved the "thats not my diagnosis" line too. I know he isn't as popular with some people, but I'd happy to see him in a larger supporting villain role in the 3rd.

I NOTICED THAT TOO, and i also saw the film twice. i really hope that was him.

I'm getting sick of them treating Scarecrow like a petty joke!

Almost a complete waste.

"Not my diagnosis!"

No new costume, nothing interesting to do, and no fear gas effects.

Ugh.

Jeeze you people are hard to please. I thought him gassing the Fake Bat was awesome though.

Right, but where's the fake Batman's REACTION to it? He's just all "Oh no! Someone sprayed me with some sort of mist! Is it Windex?"
