I was extremely happy to see The Scarecrow in the film, though I do wish they had used him more.
However, that scene where Scarecrow comes out of the van and says
"I told you that my drugs would take you on a TRIP.....I NEVER said WHERE..." was fantastic. And funny.
Scarecrow seems like he has come down since we saw him on the horse at the end of Begins, but he is definately off of his rocker. I like how he maintains his geeky fascination with Batman (that he first showed in Begins). He definately doesn't seem to mind being captured by Batman....seems like he knows it wont be long before he is out again. I love the "Not MY diagnosis line". Murphy really brings back the snotty Crane with that one.
On a visual note, I like Scarecrows rumpled suit and mask...and as wierd as this sounds, when they took the mask off, I really liked Cillians hair do....it sorta looks like mine, hah hah.
I do wish they used Scarecrow more, but his scene was effective and I am sure he will be back for the third one.
Two things...
There was a set report a while back that Crane was in the courtroom scene with Maroni and all of the other crooks.....I didn't see him though.
Also....and one other person has mentioned this.
I am positive that there is a shot of Crane on the Arkham ferry at the end. its a quick shot of his disguised as a cop....
Now...you are thinking I am crazy...
But I saw the film twice in a row last night...
and this one close up of the "cop" on the Arkham ferry not only bears a striking resemblance to Cillian Murphy, he also has the same slightly shivering lower lip tremble that Crane exhibits when he gets intimidated in Begins...and he has some slight scarring around his left eye...where Rachel shocked him in Begins.
Now...I could be wrong...but Ive seen the film twice and the "cop" sure as hell looks like Murphy.
