Scariest/Creepiest things you've ever seen/experienced?

When i was a kid,
I fell asleep on the top bunk bed of my motor-home,and my sister was on the bottom bunk. When I woke up I was on the bottom bunk and she was on the top.

at a really bad party in newtown (sydney) saw a girl performing necro beastiality...

I wanted to leave but she was swinging a large knife a little too close to my face....i didn't want to make any sudden movements...

and in case your wondering, it was a pigeon or a quail or something that she had found on the roadside a week before and had been keeping in her freezer for a special occasion.....

can anyone top that?

I'm getting a little tired of hearing all of these ghost stories that people claim to have witnessed. Wait, I'm getting pretty tired of hearing about ghosts in general.

I hope you're making that up.

Well, this is probably going to be different from the rest of you guys, but still:

One day, at work, a co-worker of mine turned to me and, somewhat jokingly, commented on how bad a job I did on stacking some things. As she did that, I remembered a dream I had about a little under a month beforehand, in which, for a very short part of it, a scene that was almost exactly the same took place. I even remembered saying to her than she had been in a dream I had shortly afterwards. You know, a feeling of De Ja Vu so strong that it implies, to you at least, some kind of precognative aspect. However, shortly afterwards, I couldn't remember the dream for the life of me. I remembered the scene in question, but no matter how hard I thought about it, I couldn't associate it with a dream I'd had. It was simply something someone had said to me a few moments before. I wasn't sure what I if what I remembered was real, or if I was having a memory laps, or if I was psychic, or is I was just insane. And I must say, not being able to trust your own brain is a scary ****ing thing.

when I was 7yrs old , I woke up in the middle of the night to find out some guy had put his hand trough my bedroom window and began stroking my head and running his hair thru his fingers, I froze in bed and couldnt scream :( , anyway I told my mom the story the following day and she said that she had the same experience when she was at that age.

was it a dream or real?

Creepiest thing ever happened to me was when I was abut thirteen. I was walking home from a friends place and I took a short cut through the park, which backs onto an old saxon church and its graveyard. I saw a light in the graveyard, and figured it was probably kids getting pissed, so I went over for a look, since a knew a fair few of the ones that liked getting pissed in graveyards.

I go over there and I can't see the light any more, so I wander around looking for it, in case I got a bit turned around, since in the dark all the trees and walls seem to end up in different places and perspective gets all funny.

Then, I see the light out of the corner of my eye. I mananged to stutter out something like 'stop playing games' and went after it. Didn't catch up with it until I got to the creek at the bottom of the graveyard. Thing is, that creek has been dry for years, and the graveyard is about a mile wide. No way could I have done the whole mile in a few minutes. Then I see a monk standing by the edge of the water. My whole brain was in panic mode, which got worse when I realised that there shouldn't be any water in the creek, so I just turned and ran, since the monastery by the church got demolished nearly 200 years ago.

Took me best part of ten minutes to run back to the edge of the graveyard. Pretty much threw myself over the wall, straight into one of the church guys seeing people out after evening service. He said lots of people see ghosts in that graveyard, and there were a few cases years back when the creek was still running of people drowning in that creek at night because they couldn't see a damned thing in the dark and ran into it.

We had torrential rain and flooding a few weeks after that. Some guy drowned in the creek in the middle of the night. Fell in and hit his head.

I still get nightmares about that. If that creek had been running I could have run straight into it, and I couldn't swim back then. I mean, if the moon hadn't been out I wouldn't have seen the drop and broken something when I fell anyhow. Scares me to hell and back. I realised later on that there are quite a few local tails of the last monk at Rodbourne, and that you never go near the creek after dark.

Interesting story. If you don't mind me asking, what are the stories pertaining to this monk?

Not my story, but a friend told me it a few days ago. Yes it's real and it scares me.

Once he was out hunting in the woods and it got dark. So he packed it up and was heading back to his house. He picked up speed a little bit, mainly because his flashlight battery was dying. All of a sudden, he here's something up in a tree above him. It screams like a woman. He gets the heck out of there because it creeps him out to no end.

Incidentally, the scariest thing I've ever seen would be this:
giantsharkhe2.jpg

...can't sleep or the shark will eat me...can't sleep or the shark will eat me...

I saw a UFO when i was a bit younger.I wont go into much detail..and i am telling the truth. There is documentation of this, and it even was in the news.Check news reports for Russian UFO sightings in 1989.

It was around 11 o'clock PM, and me and some friends were driving around, looking for this house where this other person we're supposed to pick up was.

We stopped at this small block that had these little shops--but all of them were closed, so we just walked around for a while. We stopped at a Jack in the Box and I went into the bathroom.

I was standing there, doing my business...when somehow this other guy just busted in. I told him the polite version of "get the f**k out of here," when he said, "Relax, dude, just washing my hands."

Okay--it's 11 PM, I'm in a place I've never been in before, I'm standing near the toliet, my cash and prizes dangling, and a raggedly-looking guy just busts in saying he had to "wash his hands" for some strange reason.

Needless to say, I was scared s**tless. I remember my friends jokes earlier, saying that in the late night I was going to be raped. Now I wasn't so sure that was just a joke.

He finally leaves, and I quickly finished up and got the hell out of there.

I was on an earthquake (forgive spelling)... It was really scary, My house balanceated like if made of paper...

Just lasted about 10 seconds, but it was AMASING... (I can say that, nobody get hurt, just scared like hell).

Once I woke up to go to the bathroom, my sister caugth me and she started screaming in pain, I go to se what was going on and she didn't responded to me for a few seconds (aparentli my unespected aparition induced her a panic attack), weird... Im not so scary :(

Interesting story. If you don't mind me asking, what are the stories pertaining to this monk?

I don't remember them in detail but when they tried to demolish the monastery everyone else moved on except him, and there was a huge dispute as to weather they could move him or not. There are a fair few things about him being secretly in love with the priest at the church, who changed his tune quite suddenly about the demolition. For the longest time he was against it, but one day announced that he would support it. The next day they found his body in the creek. I can't ever remember how the monk died, but it was mob justice or one form or another.

If I'd known all of that before I saw the light I'd have never followed it.

One night me and a friend were working late into the night on our final semester art project, the school was a very old historic one surrounded by woods. There was nobody around exept the two of us and it was very quiet, suddenly my friend turned to me and gave a strange look, he said did i hear something, i said no, he then said ..... "someone just said - what are you people doing -" we went silent

Oh, and Willem Dafoe's face. How could I ever forget that?

one time i went to use the bathroom of a local multiplex. it was a big one with lots of stalls and urinals, and i was the only one in there. this guy comes in while i'm pissing and stands directly behind me like he's waiting in line. it was f**ked up.

so basically, some guy walking into the bathroom while you're peeing is the creepiest thing that's ever happened to you?

lucky you.
