Anyone of you guys caught this new show tonight called "Cha$e, where contestants (runners) try to outrun Hunters for a chance to win $25,000 in cash?

It's the Running Man, without all the dangerous and violent traps! :bh:

Does it have Arnie?

do the hunters still try to hurt them whilst wearing really bad cliched costumes? please say there's a fat opera guy with a beautiful voice but a hideously violent attitude....

I think it's more of a take off of that new game Mirror's Edge. How was it though? I was meaning to watch it but completely forgot.

Those promos are misleading. No free running roof hopping mofos here. It's mainly just a big hide & seek game. Unlike American Gladiator, you don't have to be in top physical shape. If you can walk, you can win. Hell, one guy survived the whole 60 minutes by staying hidden in a empty building. Unfortunately, he didn't cross the exit point in time to collect the cash and ended up with nothing.

They should do away with the camera crews following certain contestants. They give their position away to the hunters especially for those who trying to hide behind trash. Instead they should have them shoot from roof tops, in vehicles (parking or passer by) or set up security cameras around the playing field.

Oh yah, why did the brother have to be a prick :facepalm

you know...I saw an asian gameshow where people put fish on their belts and got sprayed with pork juice and then had to cling to a rolling log over a pit of water that had hungry crocs in it.

Why can't we get game shows like that?
:)

Tonight they're chased through Universal Studios with that guy from ECW.

When I heard about this show, I immediately thought of The Running Man-- moreso the book (where he volunteered to be hunted on the game show for money) than the movie (where he was framed for murder and put on the game show to win freedom).
