Scream 4!!!!! - Part 3

Cox has been very open with her nip/tucks and owns it. She's even mentioned going overboard with it. So regardless of what she's done, she knows her place. She doesn't look that bad, and she has acting chops that some ppl who have never had any nip/tucks will never have. Sorry.

I don't think they've released a lot of footage. It seems to be the same footage slightly extended here and there.

Did everyon see the Biography Inside Story yet? My god what has Rose McGowan done to herself? She was slurring her speech, her lips looked ****ing huge, and her face was stiff as ****.

Far too much botox.

That's because she was in a huge accident a few years back...

Be careful what you say, she's lucky she is alive even.

Saw a picture of her recently.

And I thought Cox went overboard with the botox....

Was she really in an accident? Because I feel like I would've heard about that, having loved her from both Scream and Charmed.

Nevermind. I just read about her accident on wiki. Damn, that's rough, but it wasn't her eye area that was bothering me in her interview portions. She looked normal there. It was beyond her nose. She just looked stiff.

wikipedia says she was in an accident in 2007, but she was on Nip/Tuck in '09 and she looked fine.

I say botox.

I was stunned when she came on screen in the Biography, just because she looked so stiff and awkwardly looking. I remembered seeing pictures of her in 09 from her Nip/Tuck run (still behind on Nip/Tuck's last few seasons) and I remember her being fine too.

At least Courteney still looks like Courteney, I could barely recognize Rose when she came on screen. I was worried she going down a Nikki Cox road.

Dude it did happen. Don't know ifit was an accident or just plain horrible plastic surgery but she looks bad.

Same here. I don't think I've seen anything that wasn't just a slight extension of what I've seen in the trailer. Except the "your not real" clip , I'm avoiding that one.

two more days :woot:

None of those are major websites. And even if it does get mostly bad reviews most horror films don't get good reviews anyways.

Two the reviews mention the word overlong. When did an hour and 43 minutes become overlong?

Another review describes what the Scream series was since the beginning. Tons of characters, red herrings. Those reviews just are awful in themselves. They don't even seem full thought out reviews.

One reviewer there liked the Nightmare and Halloween remakes.

These aren't exactly people I'd trust with horror movie reviews.

I could sorta understand the complaint about the irony and self referential thing, if it's not done well.

Satire, irony, self reference can be hard to pull off well and it not seem forced and corny.

This is the series that introduced those elements TO horror. If they can't get it right, then either a) the critic didn't get it b) Williamson somehow hit his head while he was writing the script that is still 90 percent his according to him, Craven, and Ehren, and was unable to write what he did very well in Scream 1 and 2, and hell even with Vampires on the Vampire Diaries.

The rotten reviews sound like people who just don't ''get" the Scream series.

Well either can't get it right, or it's gotten old?

I obviously haven't seen it yet so can't judge, but you don't need dismiss the opinions of people who have seen it as though they don't get it. Maybe they do get it, but have got tired of it? Who cares though?

Your own opinion is the only one that matters.

I never pay attention to reviews, I always go see the movie for myself and form my own opinion from there.

Yes, it's gotten old in the days where horror is torture porn and remakes that don't use it like the Scream series did. I don't know I just rarely trust reviews in general, let alone on horror films.

I'm pretty sure Scre4m will be awesome.

On a side note, I don't know how anyone could like the Freddy remake. Terrible. I mean, getting JEH as Freddy was a good choice, the rest of the movie, blah.

The only horror remake from recent years that has been worth anything was the Texas Chainsaw Massacre one. The Friday the 13th was alright I suppose. But yea, the Elm Street one was atrocious.
