Barry and Iris greet their future children, XS and Bart, only for a shocking secret to threaten their new familial harmony; the Godspeed war intensifies and threatens to destroy Central City.

The 150th episode of the Flash. Directed by Eric Dean Stanton

Well thank luck that such a conflict doesn't expand to any other city on the planet. A nice contained threat. What more could you ask for?

So this the 150th episode before the season finale of Season 7.

Firstly, I'm going to reflect on 150 episodes of The Flash. I still remember watching the pilot with so much anticipation and here we are, 149 episodes later. What a ride. I know the show has lost it's way a little bit over the years but I'll always look fondly on this show.

So, not a bad episode for the big 150th. Bart was a nice addition, I liked seeing Nora play "big sis" and the Flash fam. Some of the family drama brought this one down though and Allegra's secondary plot was pretty meh. I'm glad Cisco was able to pop up but I wish we would have gotten more Joe and too bad Wally couldn't make an appearance.

Take a shot everytime Barry says "I wish Iris were here" Glad that she is back because its been annoying that they act like we'll forget who she is if Barry doesnt mention her every other sentence.

"Nora is all grown up" she doesnt seem much different from when we last encountered her lol.

Godspeeds encounter Jay JUST as he's about to get back into running? Talk about timing.

I hope there is more to this Bart storyline because they removed one of his most interesting aspects...well 2 of them. 1 coming from a dystopian future and 2. Being a direct relative of Thawne.

It could be because of budgetary reasons but Ill never understand why these writers forget that one of the things that make ice-based characters a threat to speedsters is that they can put them on ice...literally. Frost should just make them all into popsicles to give them enough time to get away.

I wish it was funny to see Barry/Iris fight with their future children but ya'll aint parents yet! I don't care how many force children you pop out of the speed force. They are what? 30/31 themselves nowadays? Barry you're woe is me speech, everyone has a Thawne, it's just an arch nemesis.

Cisco! He was a nice surprise.

Both siblings were "near death" in under an hour, exhausting. Though where was Killer Frost? They could've sped her to the scene as well.

I still have no idea where Joes storyline is going...what was that "accident" the car wasnt even in the same lane! lol. They are really fighting for the dramatics.

Well....yeah, still better than the first half of the season but not the best they could've given us.

Great way to celebrate the milestone 150th with the returns of Cisco Ramon and Jay Garrick. This is Barry and Iris’s insight into parenting when dealing with their future children. Nora needs to join Legion while Bart needs to form Young Justice with Tim and Conner.

This episode was fun. Bart was over the top at times, but I think we can attribute that to the stress of the secret he was trying to hold in. It's good to have Nora as part of the show again, and I like the sibling dynamic in the "invisible hat" conversation.

Even the howlers contributed positively to an enjoyably schlocky mess:
  • "We are the Borg"
  • Care Bear Stare
And my favourite:
  • nanometres

I'm starting to think that Kramer and Creyke are two of Vandal Savage's immortal kids, and that they're playing a long and very violent game of tag where the goal is to "kill" the opponent's ability to maintain his or her current public identity.

All in All a good 150th episode. I liked Bart, Jordan Fisher was Cast well. I also liked that he is not only happy all the time but has some darkness in him. He is just like his father though. Bart even lost someone he loved right in front of him like Barry. As for Nora, she seems more mature. I already like her more than I did S5 Nora. I read this somewhere else and I agree: while Season 5 Nora was a mini Barry, This Nora is more like Iris. Looks like Iris won’t be getting pregnant til 2022-2023 going by Nora’s age.
The Godspeed fight kind felt flat to me, Dunno maybe it was the bad cgi or the hilarious Godspeed voice but I wasn’t feeling it. The last scene with Barry and August In Godspeed’s mind was scary tho.
Wonder why Bart won’t wake up? Nice to see Iris and Barry co parenting instead of fighting when it came to their children. Well season finale coming next week let’s see if it’s good.

A better episode than the ones we've had of late. Was Cisco billed in the opening credits? I didn't recall seeing his name so it was a surprise.

Nora was better here than before. She's playing someone 10 years younger than she actually is.
